Robin is amazing & so lovely to chat to. I got my hair cut to a short bob with a fringe and it grew out so well! Booked my next cut 7 months later, and that morning I before my appointment I was still getting compliments on my haircut. Will definitely be back!
I recently took my tween son to Minx for a funky haircut, and I must say it was an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. Our hairdresser, Robin, was simply fantastic! He was incredibly attentive to my son's needs and listened carefully to what he wanted. He took the time to understand his hair type and face shape, and then came up with the perfect cut that suited his personality and style. What really stood out to me was Robin's love for his clients. He was patient, kind, and took the time to make my son feel comfortable and relaxed. He even gave him some great tips on how to care for his hair, which was very helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend Minx Hair Studios and Robin to anyone looking for a fantastic haircut experience. The salon is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly talented and friendly. My son left the salon feeling confident and happy with his funky new haircut, and we will definitely be returning for our future hair needs!Services: Hair coloring
Have moved 2 hours away but will travel to Robin as his hair cuts are so great. He is an amazing cutter and so knowledgeable with colour too. He gives personal attention to each client, is fast and efficient and has a great manner with none of the pretension that you can get in some Surry Hills salons. Robin is flexible with his hours and has often fit me in last minute even when he is really busy. Honestly the best cut I’ve had in ages. Disappointed I had not been coming here sooner! Robin is incredibly nice and always very helpful with any hair questions. I always walk out super happy with the cut and with a big smile on my face.
Robin is one of these people who put you at ease in the comfortable setting of his Salon. Conversation is always sincere and before you know it the time whizzes by and you leave feeling good and looking great. I always look forward to seeing him every month and everyone else seems second best when it comes to his style and service!
10/10 experience! The moment I walked in, Rob was so warm and welcoming just as other reviewers have mentioned and I felt confident that I would walk satisfied with the service he was providing. Rob walked me through all the colour options, gave me his opinions of what would and wouldn’t work based on what I explained i wanted, and then talked me through the entire process as he was doing it. Rob really knows his stuff, delivers exceptional results and was so genuine and attentive through the entire experience. I would definitely return and I’d recommend him to anyone wanting colour work done as he is miles ahead of the game.Service: Hair coloring
I’ve been visiting Robin’s salon since 2010, when I was a new Surry Hills resident. Since then Robin not only has been taking care of my hair I am quite “precious” about it, but he’s also become a person I am super comfortable with and can share things with. This makes my monthly haircut experience more than just a haircut
Robin is excellent! I was looking for a hairdresser for my now 2y old son who was a bit scared initially. Robin is great with kids and did such a good job making my son feel comfortable. I am always happy with my son's new haircut and my son actually enjoys going to the hairdresser now.
