Love the space for dogs to run around. The netball courts are awesome. The bmx track is sweet. And the kids playground is really well thought out. Got some learning activities as well as swing and flying fox and a little obstacle course bit. Heaps of parking unless netball is on :) and the lake just makes it so relaxing

A lovely park for a walk. Bench seat up on the hill behind Waterworld provides a beautiful view of the western horizon, taking in Pirongia, the wind farm, and the Hakarimatas. A good spot to watch the sunset. Usually breezy up on the ridge though, so bring wind-proofing on a cold day. The Model Railway at the north west corner of the park is great to visit when operating too.

Good playground. No toilets though. Can walk around the lake or ride the bmx tack as well.
