We warmly welcome you to our motel for a peaceful and soothing stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We hope you will enjoy our clean facilities including comfortable rooms, private geothermal spas, and a wonderful indoor geothermal pool. We take pride in the geothermal mineral waters on our motel land and we know you will take as much pleasure in the spas and pool as we have.

Situated 5 minutes from Helensville and 35 minutes from Auckland, Mineral Park Motel is the perfect getaway. We are within walking distance of restaurants and shops including a Four Square grocery store. There are two swimming complexes close by, along with three golf courses. Muriwai and Shelly Beaches are both within 15 minutes travelling time and the motel provides an excellent rest stop right in the heart of fishing country.

Last visited here a few years ago. Then the place was tired : but the proprietor was bright cheerful and welcoming. This time was the opposite. We were upgraded to a bigger room. We soon discovered the pool.aerators did not work. Nor did the fan!!! When explained to the proprietor he told us he already knew. So he deliberately put us in a substandard room. A little effort would return this gem to its original quaintness No one available at check out -even when we rang the bell.

When I stayed, in unit 9 the walls were covered in holes, scratches and drawings. Hole in floor with a board over it. Grass growing over the roof of the shared pool, which had a lukewarm spa. The view outside unit 9: a rusting dismembered Jeep and a rusting swing set. A depressing place. I left early in the evening and went home because the place was so uncomfortable to stay at.

Management husband and wife team were great, the only reason we stayed apart from the geothermal pool!!!! The only let downs were the terrible rooms! they were extremely extremely outdated, no air conditioning and the mattresses looked like they were from the 90s ( brown and far too soft to have a good night sleep). To the owners, you have a potential gold mine with the geothermal pools, the motel needs some TLC!!!! we would rather spend another 20 dollars or more and have a nicer place to stay! cheers.
