First thing I would say I won't come back to this place again. Bad customer service. And the second thing is their food is so so. Nothing special. Other Vietnamese restaurant better than them and cheaper. Their prices a bit expensive. Softshell crab is salty and dry, spring roll and rice paper rolls nothing special. Omelette is weird with the seafood. And the skewers is very dry. But anyway, mainly upset me is the customer service.
Delicious banh xeo However, beef brisket was on the bland side, and pretty dry. Soft shell crab portion was also on the small side Wouldn't mind coming back, but certainly has room for improvement
Funky interior with wow factor food. A step up from your usual small diner. Service was a little clunky but not awful. Tiger on tap was great. Highly recommend.
First impressions are so so. I came here after work before dinner rush thinking I'd be safe to get takeaway without having to wait long... unfortunately was wrong.. order took 40 minutes. I ordered Beef noodles and a salad, both were average taste so that didn't help either. The restaurant wasn't full, only 3 tables were seated.. Also - the place is located on a main street so parking is not always guaranteed.
Cozy atmosphere, tasty food. Lots of vegetarian options available! The coconut choc frappe tasted like a blended lamington :
Just had dinner at Mimosa Kitchen tonight, and it was a great dinning experience. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. All the dishes were tasty and good portion. However, the diced beef isn’t really “diced” beef but more sliced, and the meat wasn’t trimmed so we did get a few gristles. Overall, we actually enjoyed the food, the service, and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Will definitely come back and possibly bring some more people with us so we can try all the dishes.
Very efficient service, nice dacore, and good food. A bit more creative than the usual fair of Phó like in most other places. Reasonably priced. I'd recommend the Phó here tho as their noodles were so fresh and springy! And the creme brulee is sublime.
Foods lacking flavour.... Beef slices in Pho was a bit smelly Needed to put more fish sauce or any sauce for flavour.. Also, food came out slow Fried rice....hmmmmm consider ordering it. Probably won’t be back.
Doesnt stick out but well worth the visit. started with Tumeric fresh rolls and absolutely delicious with a large portion of dipping sauce. secondly came the pho bo soup for my partner which i dug into aswell and couldnt stop . lastly came the noodle dish and woweee .. so yum . washed it down with a green smoothy and lunch is done ..
I went there in anticipation of good food after having read all the reviews here. The portions of all dishes were too small for the price - in other vietnamese restaurants it would be at least 1.5 times for the same price. The beef pho and the fried rice paper spring rolls were good but of standard/acceptable quality. Unfortunately the Bun bo hue spicy beef noodle soup was not up to scratch at all and let the whole show down - it seemed they just scooped some of the pho beef stock and boiled it with chilli oil and lemongrass - as a result the taste of it was too bland for what it is supposed to be. Taking shortcuts to cooking this mammoth dish is unacceptable. That said the service was good and the lady who served us was very patient and friendly. Although two out of the three savoury dishes were acceptable, the one dish and the small portion sizes for vietnamese food let down the whole experience. The dessert of banana and sago in coconut milk was a great combo of flavours but too sweet and should have been more substantial as well. I would say spend your money at other vietnamese restaurants.
