Pre ordered meals for pickup. Hadn't even started to cook our meal when I arrived. Food we ordered was not available, wrong meal supplied, owner seemed to be sitting in back of restaurant not helping and without care. Food tasted horrible, threw it in the bin and ordered hungry jacks. Picture below of one of our meals compared to their FB page. Misleading at best.
Pretty happy with the food, can agree with other reviews that their service might be a little slow. However the food and drink was all plenty good in my opinion. The chicken curry is a more coconut base kind not the Japanese kind. If you eat out in the city often the flavour is very similar to Sing's Penang curry. However I feel like there's almost too much meat which is a weird thing to complain about. It could definitely use more veggies instead. The milk tea tasted nice and is uniquely presented with the pop cap top. The eggette waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with the typical mild sweet flavour.
Tea tastes nice, foamy & creamy. Too bad not many choices since Im not a fan of cheese. Nice bottle packaging though but hard to eat the lychee inside since they seal the top very tight. Cream brulee would taste better if they were chunky instead of being blended into a creamy mix. Overall not really bad but a bit expensive.
Pearls are tasteless but have a very nice texture. Milk tea is really really milky and lacks flavour from tea. Unfortunately did not enjoy my first drink from MIMO, but will try again since they are popular for their large variety of flavours.
Nice tea shop in the city serving well brewed tea and a really nice cheese foam. Service is friendly however wait times can be longer than expected at busy times e.g. over 20 mins wait.
This place is under new management! Horrible customer service. I gave them 3 chances and I will not go there anymore! This is the darkest egg waffle I ever seen. They usually have the best waffle with crisp outside and soft inside. Last time I went there, been waiting 15mins. Then I asked the staff, she said they ran off the material! How could you still sell things without material? And without telling customers?
Try Brown sugar pearl! : edited: I have a bubble tea in this shop almost every second day. It should be good if I can collect points like what I got from Gong Cha.
Loved the brown sugar bobba here at Mimo. The egg puffs were made fresh and were very crispy! There’s a bit of a wait here so be prepared for that, though you can tell it’s busy here all the time. Love this place!
I hope you like cheese... Half the menu items are only available with cheese and asking for no cheese will be get you a confused look followed by “no”. The genuine tea drinks are not well filtered of tea leaves. Venue is pretty and has many posters.
I ordered cheese osmanthus oolong. I have to say it's not really good. The taste quite weird, the tea doesn't have oolong flavor. And I saw other person write the review. I agree them. Staffs not training very well , too many wrong order, and it's need wait long time about 40 mins for a cup of drink.
