The best station for starting a walk on the Harbour Bridge from the north end, visiting the iconic Luna Park and visiting Milson park to see Jacaranda trees.
Milsons Point Station, located on the northern end of the Sydney Harbour Bridge just 3 km from the CBD, serves as a key transport hub connecting the lower North Shore to the city. Opened in 1932 alongside the bridge, it replaced an earlier station near Lavender Bay and became central to Sydney’s rail expansion. The station is surrounded by iconic attractions such as Luna Park, Bradfield Park, and waterfront lookouts offering sweeping views of the Opera House and Circular Quay. Its history reflects the transformation of Milsons Point from a ferry hub into a modern suburb shaped by the Harbour Bridge, while today it remains a gateway to leisure, heritage, and some of Sydney’s most famous harbourfront landmarks.

I looked out from the window and saw the smiling face of Luna Park & realised it was a terminated run . Nearly 40 years ago but the view was & still is unforgettable !!

The line's for the ferry were really long so I caught the train, beautiful views from here, I didn't have to wait long before the train arrived and I was on it, cool train ride over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, due to Wynyard Railway Station been the only city circle station open due to maintenance catching the ferry was wasn't worth it, apart from the long lines and not being able to get on the ferry twice, I got pushed from behind by families!!!
