Tried the ricotta pancakes and it was amazing! I typically get tired of pancakes but these were easy to eat and very tasty with the cream and fruits on top of it. I also got the egg and bacon sandwich which was paired with a sweet tomato sauce. That was tasty as well! They have two seperate menus: one for dine in versus one for take-out. The ricotta pancakes are for dine-in only. It also seems like they've upped the pricing of their products about $1.75 - $2 more so keep that in mind when ordering from the menu. Overall, great little cafe with good service and food!
Breakfast taco with scrambled eggs, beans and chorizo: seriously tasty. Of course there are plenty of other options for breakfast on a lazy Saturday morning. Great coffee too!Food: 5/5
Nestled in the CBD fringe, this is a great spot for lunch and coffee. We really enjoyed the quiet and comfortable setting in the back rooms. The staff were really nice and the food was great - it was a simple lunch of bacon and egg sandwiches, but they were great and the coffee was excellent. Worth a visit - and on the tram line to the city!
Food is beautifully executed and ingredients are premium quality. Staff are lovely too and pricing is fair. Only thing that could be improved is the coffee - the barista mades it very well but the blend is quite a dark roast which isn’t my preference. Still good though! Look forward to visiting again Food: 4/5
Not a bad place for a coffee and some pastry or muffin. Loved the taste but was a bit surprised that the iced coffee was that small. Muffin was quite tasty and not too sweet!Food: 4/5
Another great Modern Australian brunch place, Milkwood had a nice ‘home’ feel to it. The typical brunch meals were delicious, the coffee was good, the service was friendly. The food and drink selections were decent as well. We had their banana cinnamon toast and eggs kerjiwal - and they were both really good! Highly recommend.
More seating available at the back of the cafe, in a cosy setting. We ordered ricotta pancake and poached eggs on sourdough which were delicious and very filling. Good coffee and a range of cakes and pastries available too. Average cost for two is around $50.
I stopped into this cute cafe to get an Earl Grey tea. Friendly staff and great customer service. Located in close proximity to public transport, with the end of the 96 tram line nearby.Food: 5/5
We love our little local! Never disappointed in the service or the food Ordered their salad again today and added the poached chicken, and it was super fresh and tasty! Best value for money! Their sandwiches are also yum! In fact I’ve never eaten anything there that I didn’t love. Support this lovely local, you won’t regret it
Lifesaver. Not many eating options around here. Milkwood was open on a Sunday morning. The staff were friendly. Out of pancakes and granola. The eggs and chicken baguette were tasty. Coffees were strong and good
