It is great little public house , haven't been here for 12 years , 3rd time 2009 , 2010 Haven't changed much the Pub
Few beers, a bit boring, was there a few weekdays and a Saturday night but quiet most of the time. Young staff which is fine but they all seemed to be on their first day behind the bar, the locals assured me it was not. Don't be deterred if you want a quiet beer/drink, very central and across the road from small shopping centre. I expected a bit more atmosphere but each to there own, the beer is cold
Recent do-up looks great, inc interesting outside area. Food standard pub fare. Only downside, annoying 80s hits played at distracting volume, to be fair, just like most pubs. Personal disclosure - I'm an ureconstructed last century grumpy male, listener to classical and jazz. She liked the music

In there now. 12 people gambling and smoking out back and only me in the front bar. Renos going on out front so half the footpath is obstructed, just where a pedestrian was killed 6 months ago. Great local pub?
We used to go there for dinner when there were great deals. We would order meals with a bottle of wine. Now the 2 for 1 deal is gone and prices for old deals increased. This is what happens when popularity gets in. The greedy management just wants to make more money instead of providing meals that were fairly priced for the Leichhardt community to enjoy. What a shame. We and other friends have stopped gong there.
If I could give this place 0 I would. 0 star is beyond a compliment for this den of depravity. If you need a beer, find the local BWS and avoid this cesspit at all costs
An old skool pub in Leichhardt near Market Place. It is really quiet inside. The bistro was not busy considering it was Saturday evening. Only area looked busy was the beer gardensmoking area. Food was delicious and their staff were very friendly.
My partner and I come here on Wednesdays for their twofor deal. The atmosphere could use a bit of a revamp. That being said, the food has always been yummy and we’ve had good service every time! A nice local spot for a pint and dinner during the week.
Ok local pub with cheap happy hour beer. The decor is a bit dated but it's a local pub not a posh bar. Meat raffles on a Friday night and absolutely packed by 7pm, especially if there is some sport on. Two stars off for the food being so so so so expensive for pub grub. Knock $10 off each plate at least, or update the bistro area if you want to charge that price.
