Just after breakfast on our first day of touring, we always visit the Mildura Information Centre.nWe have been to this terrific centre many times over the years and it ALWAYS delivers!nThe friendly staff go above and beyond to provide any information that you might be looking for. For example, I asked about the history of the world's longest bar formerly at the Working Man's Club and they found some information and photocopied it for me. On our most recent visit, we met some more wonderful staff - Carmel and Mel. They both assisted us with all of our enquiries :-nThe displays here are well organised and spaced out so that you can walk around and appreciate Mildura and the surrounding regions focussing on key themes in a logical order.nThere are plenty of brochures about attractions, food and accommodation in Mildura and beyond. There are even brochures about other parts of Victoria and other states in Australia.nIt's also a terrific place to buy postcards and other souvenirs.nIf you are a new resident in the region, there's also loads of relevant information.nThere's a cafe next to the centre if you want to stay a bit longer and grab a bite to eat. There's even an area where friendly local donate books they don't want and you can pick up one or two for free.nIn short, this place has everything!nWe always enjoy stopping here and staying up-to-date with the latest information. What a fantastic Visitor Information Centre! Plenty of space knowledgeable and friendly staff and a wealth of options to explore the region!

Fabulous service and set up. Everything you need to know to do in Mildura amd surrounds. Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Also great accommodation recommendations.
Probably one of the best information centres I've been to, as it's part museum, plus it has the usual brochures and information you want, and a decent selection of gifts. It's also nicely laid out and displayed. The staff are friendly and helpful, and usually very knowledgeable, sometimes with some great tips that only a true local would know.
