It was very authentic. I liked the ringer and the tab and the cool cabinet on display and the rose gardens were spectacular. The homes been kept in good condition we went for a bike ride there.
Great piece of work done to build a replica. Pity you couldn't go inside due to lockdowns. You can see a bit through the windows. Worth a visit for the history. Grounds are kept well. We made a donation. Worth it to keep this place looking good.
First off, I didn't go into any of the buildings, I was there to look at the rise of the floodwater. The grounds are kept neat and tidy, it was great to see the old buildings still standing and the home there as well.nThere is a blacksmith workshop, a shed or lean-to for the carriages not to mention a massive steel lathe. The wharf is closed because of the floodwater, well actually it's underwater. The homestead is a popular venue for receptions especially weddings.
This is a beautiful location for a stroll and sit to take in the wildlife and river.
Nice setup but nothing open to view and look at history. Had to peer through cloudy windows to see anything. Lots of potential but not there at the moment
