I went to South Melb Miele to check out their washer and dryer range last week on a public holiday. Some staff members were friendlier than others but unfortunately I couldn’t choose who I wanted to be served with as they were all so busy that I even had to wait a bit for service. Once a staff member became available, I was seated and there was coffee and cookie while they were explaining their products. Their washer/dryer area was so warm and humid - better ventilation needed although other areas were great with a beautiful layout. There was also a small retail section within the store where you could buy your twindos refills etc. Ended up buying a matching pair of washer & dryer, and the products were delivered exactly when they said the products were going to be delivered. Have used the products and so far so good.
I have a Miele XXL dishwasher which has just turned 1 year old and still under the 2 year warranty. I have had a service technician out on two occasions to repair the dishwasher due to a water leak that has happened on several occasions. The water leak has marked my timber floor boards. My floor boards now have water stains. On both occasions the service technicians have not been able to find the issue. I have explained that the issue happens intermittently, which will make it very difficult for them to find the issue. I have supplied the water leaking photos to both technicians as evidence. I have asked for a full replacement of the dishwasher and they refuse to do so. They have only just agreed to take the unit and try to get it to reproduce the fault in their service room. I will be without a dishwasher until they find the issue. The water leak sometimes takes 6 weeks to reoccur making it difficult to find the issue. This is an example of a company that does not stand by their warranty/product and replace goods when complex issues arise. Not having a dishwasher in a busy family is an inconvenience. We paid a small fortune for this dish washer and expect much better after sales care. A water leak is not something to be taken lightly. This can have adverse affects to home flooring. I would urge caution when considering purchasing a Miele product because the aftercare is just not efficient nor effective.
Ordered a XXL dishwasher that was delayed by over 2 months. We patiently waited considering that there are still shipping issues across the globe. Dishwasher finally arrived but found out Miele's installers are not qualified plumbers so they can't install our dishwasher. I mean it's fine if it was a free service but we paid extra for installation just to be told on the day that they can't install it because they're not qualified plumbers. If customers are paying extra for a service shouldn't Miele hire qualified plumbers as installers so that they can actually do the job? Now we still can't use the dishwasher that was delayed by over 2 months because we still need to find plumbers that can install the dishwasher. Really poor service.
I can only echo the other poor reviews listed here in regard to the Miele service and support. We have had technicians attend our premises twice during August in an attempt to fix our dishwasher. On both occasions we were assured the problem was fixed at the conclusion of the technician's visit however the same problem reoccurred on both occasions. Due to inconvience and Miele's inability to fix our problem I respectfully requested that a refund be provided of all parts and service fees charged. Despite numerous calls and emails I have had ZERO response. I am extremely disappointed with Miele. I expected much better from a supposed brand leading company.
I requested a demonstation appointment of their top of the line coffee machine in April. I received a call back in August to say that I can pop in any time. There is something very wrong with the customer service here and I don't think I would purchase Miele products based on this.
My wife has been 'chasing' the outsourced Miele repair team for over 3 months to have a part replaced on our dishwasher. The lack of follow up is unbelievable. Like some of the reviews below we renovated our home and bought Miele 'everything'. Our experience has gone from supportive but 'we're busy' level of service, to trying to escalate due to too many promises, to no service and only just now, I can't get through to the customer service team. Miele was renowned for it's exceptional product and service and it's a shame they are in this position as the product presents beautifully. I'm writing this Google review as we have literally tried ever other channel.
I ordered a spare part and sent through the payment receipt 3 months ago. After a numerous of calls and emails to follow up, no one is able to get back to me yet regarding to me order.
I contacted the Miele Service Centre after my cooktop in my rental needed repairing, and my Property Manager had made three unsuccessful attempts at booking in a repair her emails were not responded to at all. I was told on the phone all that she needed to do was fill in a form and they repair would be booked, and they acknowledged they were behind on emails. She filled in this form twice, and no repair was ever scheduled. After 6 weeks of trying to book a service I gave up. Never again.
Never buy a Miele product. 6 weeks and 3 technical visits and our coffee machine still doesn’t work and when you phone up they do everything they can to avoid speaking to you. 30m plus to get through to them on the phone, then when you ask for a manager they claim there are none. They also don’t respond to written complaints.
Unless you want to spend thousands on kitchen appliances that never work properly, spend even more thousands getting them repaired and countless days off work waiting months for repair appointments that don’t conclude for 3-4 appointments because the technicians don’t know how to fix the problem then don’t buy this useless time and money wasting brand
