These guys absolutely saved us a few weeks back. Visiting overnight from Wellington, my classic car began making scraping noises. We walked in with no booking and no idea what was wrong,majorly stressing out. The midtown motors team took us from "stranded miles from home with 2 screaming kids",to "all smiles cruising home happily" in no time, and for an unbelievably reasonable price. I highly recommend their prompt professional service , delivered at exceptional value for money to anyone. 5 stars are not enough to express how satisfied I am with Midtown Motors.  We were visiting Whanganui from Hamilton when our car started to give us some trouble. We were walk-in customers with no booking, but Raj understood our situation and helped us out. They diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly and the price was reasonable too. Although we had 4-5 hour drive ahead of us, we felt good as we left Whanganui thanks to the great service at Midtown Motors.  Raj was friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and professional. Super friendly team!!! Our campervan broke down and everybody was extremely patient with us, kind and helpful. 100% recommend best place to go to!

Raj was amazing helping us out on the recent Targa after our petrol pump disintegrated at the start of a special stage - he came in after hours and got us back into the competition.  This was an after hours job - the towing company who had to travel for an hour to pick us up arranged for us to go to Midtown and we were very lucky to find us great people to help us - hope you enjoyed the custard squares:

Amazing company to deal with. I came through from Hamilton to Whanganui and had something off with my brakes.  Called Raj who said to bring the car down now and he would look at it for me.  He checked out the car so thoroughly but couldn't find a fault. Incredibly he wouldn't let me pay for this which blew my mind.  I went down to the local cafe and purchased a big cake for the whole team to express my thanks.  It was such a comfort to drive home knowing my car was all ok.  Then to add to this incredible service Raj called me the next day to see if i had any issues and had got home safe.  Now that is what you call real service. My partner and I had some car trouble while travelling back home. Raj and his team worked quickly and were very upfront with us. Amazing service and even rang us to make sure we made it home safely. Would highly recommend!!

As a sales rep I spend a lot of time on the road. This morning at 6am I was making my way to Napier when my headlights failed. I managed to get back home only using high beam. I called Raj at Midtown Motors & then drove to their workshop where he quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it & I was back on the road before 8am. Midtown Motors were great to us! As travellers we had little time in Whanganui. They were very aware and accommodating to our time restriction and got us back on the road very quickly as we had a ferry to catch the next day. They went above and beyond to do what they could for us! We definitely recommend!
