I really love eating vegetarian food, and I'm grateful to those who recommended this place. The ramen tastes incredibly yummy; I even finished the soup. The sushi is adorable and looks like the real thing but is made from veggies. The service is good, and the prices are very reasonable. However, seating is limited, so make sure to make a reservation.
Despite some initial hesitance in trying a vegan sushi train restaurant, I was blown away by Midori by Tao's. Marketing itself as Melbourne's greenest sushi train, the appearance, texture and taste of the food were very similar to the real meat deal.nnThe king oyster mushroom nigri was so good we got double servings. Our matcha desserts were delivered to us on a cute extended Mini Cooper on the tracks and were as tasty as those served in other high-quality Japanese restaurants.nnOur total lunch bill totalled $70 between the two of us, which I thought was reasonable given how full we were and the great variety we got to enjoy.
Very creative vegan sushi. So delicious We enjoyed every plate. There’s so many creative colourful rolls. Also the oat milk ramen is a winner and we particularly loved the matcha pudding. Excellent vegan Japanese
Amazing amazing discovery and would recommend for any vegetarians looking for a great meal and experience. You are served hot Japanese green tea right as you sit down. Exemplary service and the staff is kind, friendly and serving with a smile.nThe variety is extensive! The sushi train serving all cold dishes is a unique experience while the hot dishes can be ordered separately.nWould highly recommend the sushi, bao, croquettes and calamari!!!nA must try for all vegetarians in Melbourne! And meat eaters alike- you are guaranteed to be pleasantly surprised :
