Nice food had by everyone. The drinks are authentic Italian, which is probably why they're a little on the expensive side. The pasta dishes were very reasonably priced. We'd go back! We were there in a Thursday night and it was very quiet.
What an amazing gastronomical delight! This restaurant is certainly 5 star in every aspect! From the moment you enter you are greeted warmly and with respect. This service continues throughout the visit. The food is divine! From entree, to mains and through to dessert. Accompany that with great coffee and quality beer and wine and you certainly have a 5 star dining experience. The chef came and chatted with us and shared how they only use fresh ingredients, nothing frozen, and all dishes are cooked fresh on the day. The atmosphere is relaxing, with lovely background music and a quiet setting providing a platform for lingering, chatting and relaxing. Absolutely no hesitancy in highly recommending this restaurant!
A really great location, exceptional customer service and peaceful environment. Food was great! Would definitely go back again. Once nice Italian restaurant. Lovely location if you are planning a date as well. Gives really good feeling!
Had a large group booking and to be honest, very poor experience. The waitresses we lovely, but the service was poor. One member of our party ordered a Scotch and dry only to be informed 15 minutes later, that they had no dry. Another person ordered Jack Daniels, to find out 15 minutes later that they had no Jack Daniels. 5 people in our party of 15, ordered the steak. 20 minutes later, the waitress came out to inform us that they only had 4 steaks left. Someone had to pick something else. I asked for a medium steak, which came out almost blue. The waitress offered to take it back to cook it a little more. When it came back, the chef had sliced it in half, and grilled it so far beyond well done, that it had shrunk to half its original size. And they had taken my cutlery away but didn't bring any back, so I sat there until my wife finished her meal so I could use her cutlery. Would not recommend this place for large bookings, as they simply couldn't handle it. Won't be going back again.
Enjoyable evening in pleasurable surrounds. Chef Maria came to our table, greeted my husband by name which was a lovely personal touch. Explained to Chef that I was bored with the obligatory pasta or rice dishes offered to vegetarians, like myself, and would love something different. Given it was Valentines night and despite being busy she said she was happy to create something just for me. My husband and I both enjoyed beautifully cooked and plated meals served promptly by wait staff who were attentive and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be revisiting again in the near future. Thank you for a lovely evening
My partner and I tried Midnight Blue Restaurant for the first time last night, certainly did not disappoint. The meals were fresh and delicious and definately one of the nicest Chicken Parmigiana I have ever had. Staff were very accommodating and to be greeted by the chefs was a nice touch. Will definately be recommending to our friends and family.
My favourite restaurant. Love coming back to here for a excellent meal every time. Always fresh ingredients and you can taste it. Chef cooks with a passion and the staff are always professional. One of my favourites is the Salmone Penne always makes me want to lick the plate ,unfortunately you can't because it's a fine dining experience and that would be rude.
We went to Midnight Blue to celebrate my husbands birthday with family. The food was exceptional!!!!! The food and the service was superb, the quality and presentation of our meals was to die for, and not overly priced, good value in fact. Maria, the Chef, came out to speak to the patrons, individually---this makes the Midnight Blue experience, pleasant, special and unique. We will definitely be going back and I will be sure to recommend to my friends to go. When we explained to Maria that we were celebrating a birthday, she surprised us with a wonderful and scrumptious mini birthday cake, and it was her gift to the birthday boy. Thank you Midnight Blue, thank you Maria and staff, when it comes to good food, good service, good atmosphere, a good night out, you are the best!!!!!!
A small and intimate restaurant with a romantic and friendly atmosphere. Great service and always have delicious meals here. Just read the menu and query anything you don't understand as there is a few surprising ingredients in some dishes.
The staff were nice and helpful but I would never go back to this restaurant. We booked as a large party and went in at 7pm at night. At this stage we were informed that there was only 4 steaks left in the whole restaurant, no Jack Daniels and no dry....the list continued. We were unable to order much of the food in the restaurant or even drinks that we wanted because it simply wasn't available. All in all very disappointing.
