Have always used Middys in both the Western Australia (for my electrical business) and in Victoria, Pricing is sharp and fair and its the only wholesaler in Bairnsdale that actually provides friendly old fashioned customer service rather than just being grunted at (if your lucky) when reaching the counter as I have experienced with the other poor exuse for a wholesaler in Bairnsdale.

Massive Price Hike 
BE WARNED!!!! 
there is a massive difference in prices with Middy's and other suppliers particularly Go Electrical 
I had a contractor friend fit two outdoor and one indoor double power points 
he was one outdoor power point short and had to get one locally
the cost of ONE outdoor power point exceeded the total price of all the other two power points 

I am told by my mate in Melbourne that Go Electrical are having  up 10 per week of Middy's clients 
switching over to Go Electrical
so it is not just a local issue -- i know this win me any brownie points, but this is ridiculous and i feel it is a duty to forewarn others of excessive markups
