VERY FUN!nnThere's so much for the kids to do here. The playground itself is reminiscent of the old Thomas Street, for those that remember.nnBBQ facilities and picnic tables for bigger groups. Public toilets on site too. Not a lot of parking but that might be to do with the temporary? grandstands erected. Ticketed parking with flat rate $5.80 on the weekends.

beautiful playground Like a wooden castle. Children enjoy climbing to help train their arms and legs. There are a lot of activities, adults sit and wait for the children to play, there are chairs to sit and see the beautiful Melbourne city view.

This is a fantastic park / playground. The timber equipment is incredible. Also, it is SHADED!  Highly recommend

Such a great playground. The kids request coming here most often as it’s so big and lots of things to do.nnThere are plenty of seats for adults plus a few tables and bbq’s nearby.nnThe worst thing is that it can be hard to find your kids when they hide from you when you tell them it’s time to go

Albert Park Community PlaygroundnnLocated just opposite Armstrong Street, near the Western Bike Path in Albert Park, this is an amazing and very unique kids playground built in 1993 by some 300 local community volunteers and other Melbournians. After considerable planning, construction of the playground took five-days and the event was even catered for.nnJust have a look at my photos here to see how fantastic this playground really is. It's well shaded and as well as the usual slides and swings, this playground has extensive wooden platforms, turret, bridges and a fort, as well as cubby holes. It's a fantastic kids playground and picnic area.
