I want to give them credit for being so friendly and accommodating but the drinks were ordinary and there were crumbs on the chairs and under our table. The employee was also quite rude to an elderly lady who mistakenly indicated a takeaway cup instead of a mug to enjoy sitting down.
My first time here. Waited at the counter for a minute while the staff member checked her phone. Her product knowledge wasn’t very good as she asked me if an eclair was a buscuit or slice so she could ring it up. I waited at the counter for a little bit, before asking if I could sit inside while waiting for the coffee. It is very nice and presentable inside. When one family left it was quickly cleaned up by two staff. The girls then had a discussion around me in their own language. The coffee came out and wasn’t bad, wasn’t great either. Would be three stars except for the service, which is below average.
Took my daughter yesterday for a hot chocolate and macaron. Place has really gone downhill since last time I was here probably over a year ago. Grotty, filthy armchairs are a health hazard and a disgrace. Counter and till was dirty and grimy with a thick layer of dust on the till. The Cafe faces into the open but I've never seen that before. Ordered the macaron from the display case which in the past I've always been served from but was told they didn't have the flavour we indicated which meant the ones in the display case were who knows how old, which made me wonder how old everything else is. Behind the counter it also looked dirty. But the icing on the cake pardon the pun was 4 hours later my daughter started vomiting and has been vomiting continuously all night. It doesn't seem like this is a stomach bug, it looks like classic food poisoning to me. Eat here at your own risk.
I've always come to buy coffee here and/or morning tea while I wait for the nail place to open. I wanted to get a simple cake for my son's 7th birthday and they were very helpful with the sizes and the decoration. My son was so happy with the cake and so is the rest of my family. Great coffee place and great cakes on offer.
They make a good soy hot chocolate. Very small seating area that is noisy as it is so close to the main thoroughfare - but there's a comfy armchair or two. The service is indifferent.
If your website says you are open from 6am then that's what I expect when I go out of my way on my way to work to get a cake. 7:20am and no one in sight! Change the information or open when you say you are open! Very disappointed
I check for your contact number and the one here is what i get when i search.. i call and it ends up being the wrong number... i feel bad for upsetting whoever it was i called and seemed like i wasnt the only one disturbing them. Dissapointed!
Overpriced cake with ordinary taste. Highly not recommended
