This is not a very big botanic reserve. The second Creek goes through it. It's suitable for walking, jogging, cycling and scooter, but you need to be careful with some slopes. There are picnic areas and public toilets. There is no parking lot so you need to park on the nearby street. This reserve is closed between 10pm & 5am daily.
There is a lot of work being done and it shows. I appreciate that an old style garden is established alongside areas of native vegetation. The old architecture of dams and cascades, old growth trees with thick canopies and new garden beds give plenty of photo opportunities.
A charming little place with still running creek ,lots of shade and cool fresh air
Beautiful area, feel like your miles away in the middle of the forest.
Peaceful and a hidden gem of a little replica of a botanical garden
A diverse range of flora with lovely walking trails and the sounds of running water just add to the tranquil ambience.
The greatest hidden gem in Adelaide.....and it's haunted!
