My partner gave me a gold pendant with pearl for our anniversary which I absolutely loved, the chain broke just a month before the 12 month warranty expires so i brought it to brisbane instead of sunny coast where I live because I wasn’t there at the time. The staff doesn’t look to happy when I asked if they can fix may chain but offered to replace it. I didn’t notice that the chain design was different but it looked okay so I didn’t month. It’s not even a week after it broke off again and this time I brought to the store near me and they said they can’t replace it but they’ll just fix it. It broke off again and unfortunately I didn’t notice it this time and I lost it. I wish they could’ve just replaced it instead.
Went in for a Christmas gift and Hannah looked after me beautifully. So friendly and easy to talk to. Would happily shop here again

She welcomed me with a big warm smile, had great customer service was professional and super friendly. I was in the store for literally 10 minutes as she was such a big help, I found what I was looking for straight away. Her assistance was very helpful and I can't wait to give my bestie her pressie. Decent staff, although personally, Juan is my favourite clerk there and always feel more welcome there because of him. The other day, another clerk helped me exchange a bracelet of mine that broke where I did not have the receipt but it was under warranty. No idea what there name is, but there is one employee there that is particularly pushy and I don't like it and if I ever have him serving me ever again, I will tell him to leave me alone because apparently, "I'm just browsing", means he should follow me around in the store EVERYWHERE and push me into buying even with my closed-off body language? Sorry, isn't customer service your job? How can you not tell when someone just wants to be left alone? I think I made myself clear and I don't like being followed around constantly, thank you very much. Besides that one employee, I'm generally happy with my experience here. There's a seat if I get tired and it's big and fancy.
Bought a so called Genuine Pearl Sterling silver ear stud for my wife from this store. The studs were minimal used once or twice only and remained in her jewelry box for under a year? She pulled out wanted to use today and pearl and stud backing came undone due to glue detached? what a joke, stop setting the store so glamours and selling junk. We definitely never gonna buy from Michael Hill as a whole again.
We went into Michael Hill Queen Street today to purchase wedding rings and were very happy with the service we received from Catherine. We were able to get a beautiful diamond band and plain gold band for just $1,000 total! Catherine had great knowledge of the rings available and the ordering process and gave us honest advice on which styles would suit us best. Thanks so much!
Amazing!!! The new layout is beautiful and the staff are so caring and helpful! Another store messed up an important jewelry order and Regina and Jackie were superstars! They fixed everything up and were just amazing in every way! Definitely recommend going to this store for all jewelry needs!!!
Supposed to close at 5.15pm on a Saturday. Arrived there at 5pm for a pick up and it was closed already.
