Its a regular bakery, nothing wrong with it ither than the name. Its an Asian bakery, not a mexican one... very misleading.
Very popular in there in three kings it's a go to visit
Seriously one of Auckland's hidden gems. Don't waste your time with anything other than the pies and cream doughnuts. Mince & Cheese all the way!
They do the best bacon n egg pies. Soft light flaky pastry and delicious filling. Must try. Lovely family been running it for years!
The pies chilli bean & potatoe top were cold and old so there were hard, dried out pieces of potatoe and pastry. There was also a really greasy taste left behind possibly because the pies were cold. Either the pie warmer doesn't work properly or the heat was turned down. Won't go back and wouldn't recommend.
Went here for a chest meal. Hands down they have one of the best hotdogs on a bun. Pies are really good also. And their cream doughnuts freshly made. Definitely recommend.
WOULD NOT RECOMEND!! If they had negative stars then that would be the go! Found a ball of furr in a savory pie that my 15 month old niece was about to consume. Took it back to this bakery only for them to say "its meat". Was also returned $2. Wow! No, i didnt want the $2 but instead for you to take OWNERSHIP of what the ball of furr was and 1000% it WAS NOT MEAT! Definately not returning!
Had the sausage roll, tasted like cardboard. Too much flour on the "meat". Does not taste like a sausage roll at all. Tastes like ground cardboard in a basic as tasting pastry. Not happy at all.
Great pies, especially the pastry they use! Friendly staff, hidden gem of a store! I used to be a local and went here for years, I've since moved away but every now and then I make a trip back to Mexico bakery for their delicious pies.
Food looked good but wasnt hot, fried rice seemed to be leftovers from previous day, drumsticks were ok, but what really threw me off was when the cook brought a batch of fresh hot chips to top up, she must of dropped a few on the floor, she then picked them up with her bare hands and threw them back in together with the new batch that was in the bain-marie. Disgusting!!!! Some of the items seem overpriced compared to other local bakeries. 1st & deff my last here.
