As we had a death in our family, and we needed several rooms of varying size’s. The staff at the Metro Ryde Motor Inn ,met our needs, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, the B’fast was very good. If you have a particular need the staff do their very best to accommodate. They’re are friendly, and helpful. All in all our stay was a very good. Thank you to the staff at the Metro Motor Inn Ryde.
If your thinking of staying here, don't do it! Asked for a queen standard room and received 2 single beds pushed together which meant there was a rock hard line down the middle of the beds and the beds themselves were very hard. I asked for more pillows to try and sleep on those with the extra blanket from the cupboard but the blanket had disgusting blue stuff all over it. Very noisy with the traffic. The toilet was behind the door beside a very small basin that we could hardly fit in the gap. There is absolutely no room in the bathroom to dry yourself so you have to come out of the room to do so. The heater is on the bottom of the wall behind a chair but even when you move the chair it doesn't circulate. There were so many problems that we just wouldn't bother staying there again. The highlight of the motel however was the breakfast. A vast array of variety which was the only reason we stuck it out for 2 days. But, never again
Considering the price charged the Metro Inn Ryde is good value for the cheap price. The rooms are clean, the bed is good. The MDF panels for doors and cupboards was new to me, I don't think they will become a fashion statement. The bathroom was small, but it was $134. If you need a cheap room for somewhere nearby this is a good choice.
We stayed 4 nights. Clean room, and very friendly staff at reception. 10mins walking distance to train station. Budget accommodation in Sydney. Worth the money. Thank you to the gentleman at the reception for early check in Rooms: 5/5
Overall not too bad for a single night stay. Had an event at Olympic Park, so close proximity. Everything is very aged through out and in need of a revamp. Smallest toilet I have ever seen in a motel!
It’s very clean and tidy, staff are pleasant, there long term pricing structure used to be very good but unfortunately in the last couple of months they decided to increase it by 30% overnight, so now not as attractive as it once was or affordable.
A bit dated but ok. a little noisy if you area a light sleeper and I had a bright light outside my room windows at night. Friendly people.
The room was very clean and there is free onsite parking, a fridge and tea and coffee in the room. I stayed here last Friday night and unfortunately I fell ill and needed to go to hospital in an ambulance. The night staff man was very helpful and waited with me until the ambulance arrived at 2:30am in the morning. This is excellent customer service and I will try to stay here next time I am in Sydney and will recommend this place to friends.
