Story

Mestizo Cocina Peruana is a Peruvian restaurant bar proud of bringing the authentic flavours of Peru to South Australia.
Our inspiration comes from family gatherings around a table. Also the freshness our products that Peru has available all year around together. All this pumped us to create a sundry piqueo menu to recreate a feast at your table.
We work with the freshest local produces alongside Peruvian ingredients so you can have a real taste of Peru at your table.
Start your dinner with our Pisco Sour cocktail while going through our menu. If you are new with Peruvian food, we recommend you to try our Causa de Cangrejo (soft lime potato mash & crab salad) and Pulpo al Olivo (chargrilled octopus with Botija olives aioli). Also try the Costillas de Cancho (huacatay marinated pork ribs with chimichurri), and whatever else you choose, don't leave without trying our Anticuchos (beef hear skewers that will make you beg for more).

Food was delicious but serves were a tad small. We did the Mother's Day 3 course set menu but weren't asked if we wanted to see the main menu for anything else. Cocktails were delicious - highly recommend the Mt Fuji. Did not like that we had to keep our dirty cutlery from entree to main - personal annoyance. Overall a very nice meal
Wow! Such a beautiful place. Super cosy and the food was superb. Prices are great for the quality of the food. If you want to have a fun night with great Prisco sour I strongly recommend this restaurant. The service was amazing in a really busy night
Went here for date night. It has great potential but lacks atmosphere. Tables are really spread out and there was no music whilst we were there to add ambience. The food is ok - not outstanding. They had a pretty good pisco sour tho.

Atmosphere always relaxed & welcoming amongst a cosy fireplace, warm red-brick & twinkling lights. Great place to bring good company!
Excellent food and service. Server patiently answered our questions about the menu. The food was delicious. Will definitely visit again. Need to reserve a table in advance.
Superb food.. menu is a bit limited, mostly fish, but you will find something you like the sound of. Top service, staff are extremely competent and attentive. at the pricier end of the market, but nowhere near ridiculous and worth every cent. We will return!
The first time we dine at Mestizo, we were disappointed by the high prices and the size of the dishes, however we went again last night and found that, even when the prices are still very high, the sizes where bigger and the food much better. The only down was that it took too long for them to get the food to the table.
