Great stay at Meriton Suites Waterloo. The hotel makes a great first impression with a modern entrance and a stylish, well-maintained reception area. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly when we arrived.nnThe apartment itself was very clean, spacious and well laid out. It had a comfortable living area, dining space and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, cooktop, fridge and coffee machine, which is great for longer stays. The bedrooms were comfortable and the whole apartment felt modern and well maintained.nnThe location is also very convenient. There is secure parking available, and a Coles supermarket and several cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. It’s also relatively close to Sydney CBD, making it a great base to explore the city.nnOverall, a very pleasant stay and great value for money. I would happily stay here again.
A beautiful two bedroom apartment split level we stayed in very clean very spacious. Had two balconies very quiet, Two bathrooms one was a ensuite , kitchen laundry lounge and dining area were all very well maintained. Only thing I didn’t like was that we weren’t told the pool was in another complex which you had to walk on the main street to get to once you got to The pool it was very cold more like a ice bath. I just thought if it was Meriton suites That the pool would be in the same complex instead of walking in the main streets of Waterloo through parks and it would be heated , also had a sauna which one was for men other for ladies, People seem to hog the sauna and didn’t want you coming in if they were there which I felt uncomfortable on many occasions when I didnot go in so I left. Walking all the way back i also felt a bit uncomfortable at night time walking through a park back to the suites because of Where the pool had been situated I thought there was a bit of a turn off. Also you had to walk on the opposite side to get to the gym. Once again it was not in the same complex as in Meriton suites apartment was hated it .
We really enjoyed our stay at the Meriton suites! Good location, short drive to everywhere. Walked to local restaurants and shops which was very convenient also. Rooms are great and spacious, we were given a room with a balcony overlooking to the golf course, our kids loved it. Thank you to all staff, we will be back and will recommend.
A mixed experience.nThe rooms were clean and well-appointed, but a little run-down.nThe outside courtyard means people smoke out there - you get hit by the smell of smoke the second you leave your room.nStreet-suites are rather noisy - a combination of road noise, and the resonant frequency of other airconditioners running, which makes for a terrible night's sleep.nFine for a brief stopover, but definitely not a luxury stay, and definitely not worth the $380 I paid.
Very pricey for what it is. The apartments are dated and designed/maintained on the cheap side. Our sliding door to the balcony couldn't even close properly, therefore we could hear all the traffic noise. Water in the bathroom didn't drain properly. The furnishings are getting old and worn. Cleanliness wise, it is ok but could do better. Won't be coming back unless it is priced accordingly. No value for the money spent.
