Beautiful new room. Lovely view of the river. Excellent front desk service. New large TVs in the bedroom and living area. New age space saving designs for the rooms and pool area compared to other meritons without compromising quality. Wonderful space.
Quiet higher up. Great location for catching the ferry, bit of a walk to some areas tho. $40 per night for car park, same as when we stayed at the other hotel . There is a nice cafe/coffee shop for breakfast, the metro for groceries and a few choices for restaurants just downstairs around the corner.
A lovely hotel. Great views. Centrally located. There is some parking easily accessible but limited in numbers. Right next to the shops. Close to transport and the park. The lifts have no buttons and it feels odd to get in there with an open and close button but they seem modern and fast. The staff is nice and accommodating. Overall a fantastic hotel.
I stayed at Meriton George St for over a month and the service is great, and rooms are spacious and extremely well maintained. Lifts are fast and efficient which is impressive for such a large building. Lunja and his team offer great customer service, thank you. Only downside is parking. It’s extremely limited, even in the car park, and even if you pre-pay.
I had a lovely stay here in what I consider a very modern and comfortable hotel. I particularly enjoyed my quiet room high above the traffic and city noises, thanks to Byron on reception who understood my need for quiet. I would have given five stars but for the spa: it wasn’t very pleasant. Dirty grout between tiles, human hairs in the water and some sort of foamy scum on the top once the jets started. It’s hard to keep spas clean I know, but attention to detail goes a long way.nGrateful for my stay, otherwise.
