I had a great stay at Meriton Suites Church Street, Parramatta. The location is excellent, the apartment was very clean, modern, and comfortable, and everything was well maintained throughout my stay.nnI’d especially like to thank Hossain, the Property Manager, for his professionalism and helpfulness. He was welcoming, responsive, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.nnHighly recommend this hotel for both short and long stays. I’ll definitely be staying again.
Booked for a weekend with 11 of us 5 grandkids and 6 adults. We booked 2x 3-bedroom apartments for a long weekend Friday to Monday. Everything was perfect. Swimming pool - indoor and outdoor, spa, sauna. Only the gym was a bit smelly. Great access with paid parking but safe undercover. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Facilities were great. Plenty of food options at the doorstep out in the close vicinity. Highly recommended.
I do not recommend staying here! This hotel is feral. The elevators takes 15-20mins each way because apparently they’re fixing the others. Upon reading the reviews from a year ago, it seems like this elevator problem has never been fixed. There was a bunch of people crowded trying to fit into one elevator! And because it’s a high rise building, imagine the amount of stops we had to make -.- the Hotel rooms are so outdated and it feels dirty! The beds are rock solid! Worst sleep in my life! I couldn’t wait to leave. !! So happy we only did 1 night! The moment I woke up, we dressed and left straight away! The place is AWFUL!!! The customer service team was good though! But yeah, it feels grimy in their hotel rooms! The hall ways have heaps of scuff marks and it doesn’t look maintained. Anyways, if you stayed here 5-10 years ago.. like I have… believe me, it’s not the same. It’s declined in every single way! I’m giving it a 2 star rating because customer service people were nice. Other than that, a one star rating or less is really what it was!
Nicely located in heart of parramatta next to the Parramatta river. Nice views as well from the rooms. Apartment was decent size and lovely views but cleaning standards are very low. Merriton offers cleaning services after 3 nights, to me it should be every 2nd day, can’t live without vacuuming the place or tidying up. Probably charge few more dollars and provide housekeeping almost everyday or alternatively.nOur rooms had electricity short circuit issues , wasn’t very pleasant
