We booked in at the last minute for our anniversary after deciding we didn't feel like taking public transport back home. The staff were wonderful and accommodating.nnThe spa and gym facilities are fun, our room was immaculate and well stocked.nnThanks for the great night!
The reserved suite, remarked high level, and mentioned again at the front desk, was only given a room on the third floor.nNext to the decoration, there is no view on the lower floors, only close all the windows tightly to have privacy. The gray tones of the overall room are also depressing.nThe parking lot has a huge slope and I picked up the ticket halfway, 40/night, which is not expensive, but I live on the first floor with the parking lot, so it was very unhappy.nThe only thing is that the service attitude is OK, but overall it is not a very good experience.
Our 15-day stay at Meriton Suites was fantastic! Traveling with a young child, we chose this spacious service apartment for the convenience of home comforts, and it exceeded our expectations. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with utensils, a coffee maker, and pantry facilities, allowed us to easily prepare meals whenever needed.nnThe room was spotless, and the staff’s attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better—restaurants are just steps away, offering a wide range of cuisines, and the ferry is only a 5-minute walk. Westfield mall, bus stops, and the train station are all within a 10-minute walk, adding to the convenience.nnWith stunning views from our suite and everything we needed nearby, Meriton Suites offered the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and accessibility. Highly recommend for families and anyone looking for a memorable stay!
I have stayed here for work frequently. Everytime I’ve complained about bodily fluid stains on bed linen, doonas and pillows in addition to floors and bathrooms not looking like they’ve been cleaned, last time I reported also that I had bites all over my legs when I would awake from bed and asked if they could check for bed bugs and change the linen - this wasn’t actioned. The layout and furniture in the apartments is great as is the pool gym areas but just not maintained and clean especially given the rate of an overnight stay. The spa was even sparking and had a bad odour. The location is fabulous, except for a strange design that reception entry is in the back lane by the bins of adjoining properties and beside construction site. Highly rate the location and apartments the issue is the cleanliness and maintenance.
I haven’t been to any of the Meriton Suites before, yet these are really nice and comfy. If you have been to Oaks hotels, then this one is similar style apartments decked with a balcony, spacious kitchen, lounge and dining area and a spacious bathroom with all the necessary amenities. The bedroom is nice and decent size, and the beds are really soft and comfortable.nThere is a swimming pool in the hotel great for kids to play there.nPrice wise, it is reasonable and affordable, perfect for a few nights stay whether you are travelling for work, holiday, solo, couple or with a family.nYou can get an apartment suite with a river or city view, but expect to pay a bit more.nI would recommend booking in advance to get good and competitive prices, especially if you are travelling as a family. The hotel is within walking distance from Parramatta train station.nThe staff at the hotel are nice, friendly and helpful, and checking in and out is seamless.nOverall, I would recommend a visit to this place if you are looking for something different than the traditional 4 or 5 star hotel.nPersonally, I prefer these apartment suites than the traditional hotel rooms.
