Amazing place. Staff were amazing. Booked a 2 bedroom and got upgraded to 3 bedroom free of charge which was amazing due we were a group of guys. Every night 6pm free ice cream was awesome. The location is amazing and the room itself was perfect. Pool could be better but would definitely come back.
I have stayed twice now and can certainly recommend the place. Have had the 3 bedroom apartments both times and they are spacious, comfortable and clean. Ideally situated for those who love retail therapy at Westfield Shopping centre. The train and bus station are also at your doorstep. Only a couple of minutes to Bondi or the city. Excellent.
I visited here when a friend stayed here in December / January 2025 / 2026. Rooms were fresh and clean.nnPool was cold but in saying that they had a warm spa. Shower was nice as had a shower after the pool. Little bit slippery on pool stairs is only reason I marked it down and service I didn't have any interaction in the short time I was there.nnShower was warm and great incrementally.nnBuses are a few minutes walk away. They go to Moore Park, City Oxford Street, Pyrmont etc. I think it is stand R.
I stayed at Meriton Suites Bondi Junction for 10 nights while visiting from Perth for surgery, and I was genuinely impressed.nnThe self-contained apartment was ideal for recovery — a very comfortable king bed, a full bathtub, separate lounge area, and a balcony that allowed for fresh air and space to rest properly.nnHaving a well-designed, quiet apartment made a huge difference during my post-operative recovery.nThe facilities were excellent, clean, and well maintained, and the location was incredibly convenient — particularly being walkable to my surgeon, Dr Jack Zoumaras at Artiste, BJPH and Westfield Shopping Centre.nnA special thank you to Shafi, the Manager on Duty, who went above and beyond to assist me with a room change on arrival and kindly accommodated a late checkout. His professionalism and care did not go unnoticed and made my stay feel seamless and supportive.nnOverall, I felt comfortable, looked after, and well positioned during an important recovery period. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a longer or recovery-friendly stay in Bondi Junction.
We arrived early and waited in the lobby for almost 3 hours. During this time, we dealt with a staff member named Rachel, who was extremely rude in her responses and gave us unpleasant looks while speaking to us. There was also a male staff member with semi-blonde, longer hair who was incredibly dry and unwelcoming. He barely greeted guests, and when we asked questions, it felt like he had to be paid just to say a word.nnWe chose to stay at Meriton Suites Bondi specifically to recover from surgery, expecting comfort, cleanliness, and a peaceful environment. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst decision I could have made.nnWhen we finally went up to our room, the corridor smelled absolutely foul—dirty, stale, and overwhelming. This was not a one-off smell; it remained for several days throughout our entire stay. The carpets clearly need proper steam cleaning, as it does not seem like this is done regularly.nnEntering the room was even worse. The smell intensified, and the room was visibly dirty. Carpets were not vacuumed, surfaces were not wiped, and the sink, kitchen, and bedrooms were poorly cleaned. To make matters worse, the balcony window handles were covered in mould, which was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This made recovering from surgery extremely uncomfortable and stressful. We attempted to contact reception multiple times regarding these issues but received no response.nnEventually, I spoke to the same male staff member mentioned earlier, who was again very dry and completely unreassuring. He then took us to the manager, who came to inspect the room. Unfortunately, the manager was just as rude and dismissive. Instead of addressing the issue, she gaslighted us, repeatedly insisting the smell was from other guests cooking. This explanation made no sense, as the smell lingered for days and was clearly not just food-related.nnTo make things worse, when the booking was made, I paid extra for the “Relaxed Stay” option, which includes a later checkout. The staff failed to add this correctly to our booking, yet still attempted to charge me for it, despite it being their error.nnTo top it all off, the manager joked about the situation and said, “A lot of people want this room.” That comment was shocking—especially considering we paid full price and were staying there for medical recovery, not a casual holiday.nnOverall, the customer service was appalling, the cleanliness was unacceptable, and the complete lack of empathy made an already difficult time even worse. I do not recommend Meriton Suites Bondi at all and will not be returning.nnI would attach images for reference however it won’t allow me to.
