Merewether Surfhouse is the ultimate venue for weddings, private functions,
corporate events and everything in between.
Our award-winning building is located right on the beach in Merewether with
sweeping 270 degree views up and down the coast from each space.
Our premier function space configures to fit you and your guests in two private
areas. Each space is complete with private bar, built-in audio visual equipment,

Very pleasant staff who were attentive and friendly. Great outlook, one of the best vistas on the coast for sure. Did enjoy the meals even though they weren't chips but fries. Had salt and pepper calamari as well as chicken club sandwich. Good food in an outstanding position. One young lady happily serving and cleaning, was awesome to experience. Love your work. Would recommend a visit especially on a sunny day, unbeatable.

Absolute awesome views of Merewether beach, cold beer & wine, tasty food, and an Italian restaurant that has good selection of quality meals. Stylish interior with friendly staff, we enjoy lunch and cold drinks in comfort after a day at the beach or walk along bathersway. Recommended!

The location we visited was the bottom floor which is supposed to be a cafe.  The staff were friendly but seemed a little disorganised.  The location was excellent, but the decor wasn't very nice or stylish.  When we arrived, we grabbed a menu only to discover that it would be $25 for some simple fish and chips.  The whole menu was way overpriced, but we decided to try it. I ordered the club sandwich on sourdough, which took about 10 minutes to come out.  Our coffees took 5 minutes and did look very cute, but my Dad's milk was burnt.  Then the food arrived; it was okay food, but it was not something that I would pay for again. It certainly wasn't worth almost $30.  The last few problems I found was that my cup had cracks inside the bottom of it and the table we sat at was sticky, which no staff bothered to sanitise.

Oh I could sit here all day and watch the ocean. Friendly staff great menu. Tasty cocktails, definitely recommend a visit

Thank you for the amazing experience. I didn’t enjoy the dessert as much as I’d hoped, but the cocktail was beautiful and Arancini and the pasta was perfect. Wonderful view and great service

We went at 17:00 in the afternoon to eat something and the restaurant only opened at 18:00 so we ended up eating in the cafe/bar that they had, the service was chaotic, it seemed that you were not there, so we had to get up to get our menu, order our food and bring our own drinks.  There was a lot of noise because of a party that was taking place there.  The food was pretty normal, nothing special or delicious, the hamburger was a little burnt and too well done and the meatballs were super simple with a sauce of fried tomato and cheese on top... It was a disappointing experience, I would definitely not come back and I would not recommend this place to anyone, the only thing they have to highlight are the views.

This is the surf club that Bondi always wanted. Beautiful building with amazing views. We went to the pub side as opposed to the restaurant - and am not convinced the restaurant would be worth the extra expense given view is basically the same. Food was good - menu a bit limited - fish and chips definitely the dish to get for my money.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner here on an overcast day. Beautiful view of the beach. Loved the mussels and seafood pasta though the sirloin we had was very fatty and gristly. No way to dry your hands in the toilet which was a bit odd too. But lovely spot :

Recently had dinner at the Italian restaurant upstairs as part of a large group. The staff did a great job of looking after us and we didn’t have to wait long for our drinks or any of the three courses we ordered.  The food was ok but very expensive for relatively small portions.  The view is great but if you go at night it is too dark to see anything outside.

What a delight! We had a tasty meal alongside a beautiful view. The staff were friendly when ordering and quite helpful. I would recommend this place as an easy dine or take-away establishment.
