I having nothing but gratitude for the staff here. The care and gentleness they have shown my dad and other residents is beyond anything we could have wanted for him. Staff a very friendly and helpful with any concerns and question we have had, we know as a family Mercy Place Keon Park is a fantastic facility. We are so thankful for everything they do to make our dads time there a happy and safe one
I may be biased because I volunteer at this facility but that gives me an insight into how hard the staff here work to make life for the residents as enriched as possible. All of the staff, from the manager to the kitchen. From Lifestyle to maintenance. From cleaners to the all important carers and nursing staff. If the time comes when I need to move into a residential aged care facility then this is at the top of my list.
About 10 days ago my mum was admitted to Mercy Care Keon Park for respite with a view of permanent residency. This is something that many of us are not ready for, with regards to our parents ,even when it becomes clear that the time has come .Coming from a European background it was not an easy decision for my sister and myself to make ,however taking our mums condition into consideration we realise that it’s a right outcome. I want to praise and thank Robertn the general manager and his wonderful staff for making it easier for us . Thank you Robert, you run a wonderful facility . Your staff, Jess, Sue, Kelly, Sarah, Anusha, Rita, Ezra, NancynZorica,Antonio ,Mark , Anita ,Elizabeth and everyone else I forgot to mention are abosolute angels. Always helpful and friendly. The place is beautiful, clean and inviting .We all have to get old but when my time comes , and if I can’t look after myself, I’ll admit myself here or to a similar place.
If you cant keep a loved one home due to illness or old age then Mercy Place Keon Park is the next best. Clean, great friendly staff, nurses and doctors on hand always willing to help and answer questions/concerns . My dad is well looked after and cared for and its the best decision our family has made for dads needs and quality of life.
Cannot fault the staff or management.nFrom the cleaners to front desk, everyone was treated with the upmost respect. Day or night staff all should be proud of their work. Parking available at the side of property, and additional on street as well. Narrow road when both sides filled with cars though, play the 'chicken game' with oncoming cars. Hair dressing available and many outdoor sun areas to get some rays if you wish. There is a stairway to 1st floor and a lift as an alternative. Thank you once again staff and management.
