My breakfast experience at your hotel this time still needs to be improved. The coffee machine and the tea hot water machine are temporarily unavailable, which makes it inconvenient to enjoy hot drinks. In addition, I think the flavor of miso soup and the salinity of bacon can be adjusted to achieve a more balanced taste. The supplies in the double room are only for one person, and your hotel also needs to pay attention to it. In a word, I hope that your hotel can improve the above matters to improve the satisfaction of the next stay. In addition, I found that the dust in the room is serious. Do I use a vacuum cleaner to clean the room? The serious dust in the room has a great impact on me, who is allergic to dust mites.
Our stay at the Mercure Bankstown was excellent. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the convenience of being located above the sports club, with access to such a great variety of dining options. Everything about our stay was comfortable and enjoyable — we look forward to returning.
Everyone I spoke to from Mercure was lovely. But I was told on check-in that all the standard queen rooms were taken though also told it wasn't busy and given the accessible room. No issues with that but the room was in a bit of a sad state. The bed and kichenette were clean but the toilet, floor and chairs/sofa weren't. The bathroom was a bit run down and there was a smell coming out of the drain. It was fine and I don't know, maybe all the rooms were like that, I felt like there was less care taken with the accessible room and that made me a bit sad actually.
This is an amazing place to stay and one where the staff go above and beyond for you. One person in particular was Brian. I lost my car keys one morning and he went out of his way to help me look in my car, in my room and retrace my steps. His kindness and excellent service is something I will never forget and a reason I would stay at the hotel again.
The room was very clean however it is advertised as a “superior queen,” but it felt much smaller than expected. The central heating took a long time to warm up, so we ended up freezing most of the night. Even the hallways were cold, which didn’t give the hotel a welcoming or cozy feel. The TV was difficult to figure out with no clear instructions and limited options. There was also no welcome book or guide with helpful information, so we had to figure everything out ourselves. In comparison, Mercure Liverpool feels much more comfortable and inviting—and at a cheaper price—though Bankstown is more convenient in terms of location. All staff were professional and welcoming. The issue is only with the room itself for our experience.
