We stayed for 3 nights and it was a great place to stay. Fresh, new and clean with fantastic facilities. Friendly staff, with a shout out to Emma who went above and beyond in making our stay amazing.
As a last minute booking, Emma made our stay warm & welcoming. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, the shower awesome size & car parking onsite. If visiting Pakenham then highly recommend staying there.
I came to Mercure Pakenham as I was visiting family nearby and honestly I was so pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel is.nnThe decor on the lobby is classy and modern, the seating is comfortable, the reception staff were incredibly lovely and assisted me with my booking well before check in which I appreciate immensely.nnThe room was clean and smelled nice, no dust or debris and the hot chocolate in the rooms was pretty good for packet hot chocolate. Hats off to the housekeeping staff!nnThe TV was huge and being able to cast from my phone is a plus as I like to watch YouTube rather than free to air TV. It was also quite easy to use so even those who are not very tech savvy would find it easy to work out. there was a comfy couch, a table and chairs and reading lights which were nice to settle down. The bathroom was spacious and the walk in shower had great pressure and the water was nice and hot.nnI will definitely return to Mercure Pakenham in the future!
The hotel was nice quality and the room was clean. We were just extremely disappointed in the quality of the breakfast. Extremely limited selection and what the do have is the cheapest version possible. Think tip top white bread and lower than supermarket quality pastries.nAlso breakfast doesn't start til 8am on the weekends which we didn't realise when booking, so we would start our day before returning to the hotel for breakfast. It is available from 7 on weekdays, which is better, but likely still too late for a lot of people.
Love this hotel. Staff are always so happy to help and extremely welcoming and friendly. Rooms are spotless and spacious. Plenty of parking. No request too hard. Great value continental breakfast available. Look forward to my next stay.
