Great place for a quick and Authentic Malaysian food. The setup is quite vibrant with a bar. Their lunch set comes with Wine is you are really up for it. I ordered the Char Kue Tiau, which is a stir fry rice noodles with seafood. It had a few big prawns and some sliced fish ball. It taste quite authentic.
Always wanted to try this place, as we live in the area and it's always packed, so we decided to come for dinner. I ordered the Vegan Laksa $17.9 - Curry laksa soup with coconut milk, hokkien & vermicelli noodle, eggplant, bean, bean sprouts, and tofu. Service was friendly and quick. Loved the food, it came in the right temperature and portion. Great value for money! Will definitely come back again to try their other food items.
Great food and friendly service. Great placeFood: 4/5
Office and city vibe. Being close to offices, easiest and busiest place to head out for lunch. Food portions are good and well priced. Comparatively less options for vegetarians. Road side parking is less as being to city offices. Outside seating adds on to lively ambience and vibe. Overall, food is lovely, ambience is good, service is quick and nice.
We found this place while visiting from Adelaide for the weekend. Can't speak highly enough of the whole experience, from the quality of the fresh, delicious food, to the service from the friendly staff. Even the owner came to chat with us and ask how our night was ! If we're ever in Melbourne again will definitely revisit.Food: 5/5
Ordered the vegetarian laksa and the serving is big and full of fresh veggies! Has grilled eggplant in it too. Although I got to say that this dish is not totally vegetarian as it has chicken broth. Most of their other vegetarian dishes also contain shrimp paste, so if you are a strict vegetarian, you can only order the fried rice. Nice ambience and very friendly staff. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience :
#supportlocal and show Charlie some love. Great place for Christmas dinner for work, they will look after you and your table. Lots of great food. Highly recommend. We go here for our dinner every year for one of my work places. The owner is funny, the food is fantastic and the area is not that hard to find parking. The only change I would make is the broken seats and table need to be removed and not just left with a sign on them, but I understand how hard this can be when you don't expect people to damage your stuff. This is one meal I enjoy each year, and I will sometimes go mid year for a top up. Although I don't always mind the people there of who I am.
Didn’t honour my booking. Don’t waste your time. For the record the booking was made late, but was also accepted and confirmed by the app. If the restaurant is fully booked, the trick is to not accept any more bookings.
Went into city for a meal as we used to regularly visit restaurant when working in city and found nothing had changed as still great food and owner was very pleasant to talk to. Recommend this place highly for a good meal at reasonable prices.Food: 5/5
The crispy noodle seafood gravy was so bland and transparent...yee foo mee is what is called must have egg gravy and the noodles must be soaked with bits of crispness. Noodles were too hard. The satay sauce didnt have peanuts and I can't justify calling it fusion.Food: 2/5
