Stopped in town for toilet. bought spontaneous breakfast here. super friendly ladies behind the corner! Coffee tastes like heaven! Definitely try the steak cheese pie. thanks for the culinary delight! Greetings the enthusiastic man who came back to say thank you and his lady
For $14 we received a stale donut and 2 stale fruit buns - all inedible and only good for the bin! If you are going to sell 2 day old cakes you need to announce they are not fresh - especially as you expect a bakery to sell fresh !! Not impressed
Heading to the Coorong National Park..., and found this place by chance, as we were all feeling peckish... thought the only option was servo food hahaha... winner winner chicken dinner. The Service, fast and friendly considering it was extremely busy for a Saturday mid morning. Savoury and Sweet Pastries were fresh, huge selection to choose from including the fridges with an abundance of beverages to cater for all tastes no alcoholic drinks Would have given 5 Stars, but was let down by my cafe latte, which was bitter and not drinkable. Shame...
Do yourself a favour and stop by this bakery. It was fantastic. I had no idea what a Ned Kelly pie was before entering Meningie bakery. Its a meat pie with an egg on top with a slice of tomato . It was fantastic. Had to order a Nippys ice coffee to compliment it. A very underrated iced coffee I'd have to say and made not to far away in Waikerie. A huge selection of cakes and pastries but I didn't get that far as it was only breakfast time when I stopped in.
Sadly my parents from NZ were travelling and wanted to stop for some good food. Unfortunately they were ignored and the lady walked out on them, wthout acknowledging them. So sad as the food looked beautiful. They ended up walking out as they had service. Not sure what that was about.
A must stop. We had beef pie, spinach and feta roll and a salami sandwich and all was delicious. The Nutella tart is good too
Omg, the staff bent over backwards for my mum's special needs. They made both of us feel like VIP's. Mum and I both agree that the salad rolls are the best we've had. Thank you for everything
Good food and friendly service but very expensive compared to other bakeries, would think twice before visiting again. 6/10
Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with great coffee in this lovely small town on the way back from Kangaroo island. Wide variety of baked goods and very friendly staff.
Awesome Ned Kelly pies! Served by the friendly owner, who opened up on Boxing Day when most other shops in the town were shut.
