We visited here some years back now. Had a good feed and a few beers. Recommended it to a friend who said the place was good but watch your car ie lock it securely. Good spot to split the Cloncurry/Barkley Homestead/Alice drive - but again - pick your accommodation wisely. Some interesting tours when we stayed - local mine etc.

Packing up the restaurant while you are still eating is not acceptable. Charging for gravy with your meal after ordering & not asking if sauce is required initially is greedy. Staff are rude and struggling to smile at top $$$ restaurant prices. This experience is not a reflection on the bar as this is seperate to the restaurant. Bar staff and courtesy bus….exceptional. Such a disappointing experience after a wonderful experience from the town and its people in Tennant Fabulous Creek itself.

I would call it typical country RSL fare. Always a large serving with easily obtained or stored vegetables. Thankfully not over cooked. I would prefer a pub where identification was not necessary.
Great night friendly staff and great service rob great bar person only thing maybe look at what you advertise on the menu pork spare ribs should not be advertised as pork belly only down fall for a great night was the meal very over priced will come back tho for the great atmosphere
Terrible when it comes to service. It took them an hour to serve over half their customers. It wasn't very busy to begin with giving them limited excuse. By the time the food was given to us it was cold as it had been waiting on the bench for the second meal to be ready....
You cant but wonder how a club that presents itself well has a poor approach to the food they serve. Placed my order of spring rolls as an appetiser to be followed by one of the specials being veal schnizel. In due course the spring rolls arrived followed less than a minute later by the main course...seriously? Whole idea of an appetiser being a dish to be eaten with a small break befote the next course. So your faced with a delema of which dish will go cold. Wasnt a difficult choice...the spring rolls were so overcooked they resembled rocks. Now the veal...at time of placing order there was much confusion as to whether they had any left. After much opening and shutting of cabinets one was found. To be honest i feel it had been hidden to feed someones dog as it tasted foul and like the spring rolls was overcooked. Overall a great waste of over $35...and an empty stomach as i left after advising the waitress of the poor meal...i got a "im sorry " but thats not good enough.
For an outback place its pretty good. Relaxed settings meals are ok, bit pricey but thats outback for ya..
