The melting pot is a place you'd go to if you know you feel like eating Asian food tonight but you're not really sure what type of Asian food you want. It is a mix of Thai, Indonesian, Malay among others and I guess the name makes sense because of this. And in some ways all the food here is decent and serviceable with no particular emphasis. I ordered the beef rendang and even though it's fine, I might try something else next time.
We had short bday lunch between our busy day, the food so nice special Gado2 and chicken satay with tasty thick peanut sauce.

This place is incredible and authentic. The food is too fantastic to describe, you need to do yourself a favour and book a table to experience the best authentic Indonesian and Asian cuisine.
My wife and I went there for dinner and we ordered Assam Pedas Fish, Soto Ayam Soup and a Gado Gado vegetables w peanut sauce She also ordered an Ice Milk Tea and I ordered an Ice Logan drink. In total it all came to 41.70 which I though was pretty good. The food tasted good and the service was good
I'm not a laksa lover but love their laksa so much! Can tell its different from other places! Not too sure they make their own laksa paste or not but pretty sure this restaurant didn't use much msg for their food
This is the third time we've visited and it was great as always. The assam laksa is very much recommended!
Unbelievably tasty food. Very cost effective. Massive servings Beautiful staff. So helpful and nothing is ever too hard. BYO You simply cannot fault this Asian dining experience! Go!!
A special shared Family dinner was an outstanding occasion .The menu was very enjoyable and coupled with excellent service made a memorable evening .The Staff ,s help with their advice on a selection of mains was an added bonus for us. One of our party has a permanent disability and the quiet ambience was very welcome .We all highly recommend a visit to the Melting Pot as an enjoyable experience .Patrick Reid
