Only full organic produce store in South Melb Market. Why? Limited fresh fruit & vegies i.e. not a huge range, but you can definitely put a meal together. Unfortunately its obvious turnover isn't high Market is only open 4 days a week so the quality does suffer and you need to pick over the vegies to ensure you get the more fresh version. Pricing is very high compared to the organics stores at Vic Market and at the farmers markets around Melbourne, but that's probably a function of low turnover and therefore high waste. There is a selection of local baked breads, seeds & nuts and also cereals and canned goods and flour and rice, etc, etc. Also cheeses, tofu's, milk and other cold goods. Small selection but worth checking if you need something specifically. Once again, the prices exceed competitors like Vic Market stalls, Leo's, Toscano's and Oasis. It's fine if you just need a couple of items but wouldn't do a weekly organic shop here. Staff are pleasant and friendly.

Go to spot for organic food in South Melbourne. I still find pricing high but you do pay for what you get. Generally pretty good with packaging and mostly paper bags but still has a few plastic containers.
