I would NOT recommend using these guys. We used them to move us approximately 1 kilometre, 2 weeks ago. They arrived 15 minutes late and immediately informed me that I would have to pay an additional charge when the move was complete for the time it took for them to return to their depot in Kilsyth. I told the removalist that my booking was through their Thomastown depot which is the suburb I live in. Throughout the move, the main guy was only focused on how long it was going to take and was doing his best to make sure they took as long as possible. 2 trips were made and he refused to unpack our items in the last run unless I made an immediate bank transfer. I tried to charge us for more time, which I refused to pay. We have since found many damaged items as we continue to unpack. Some furniture was pulled apart and not put back together; several items, including items of sentiment were broken. In the end, they didn't not finish the move in full and I had to complete it myself in my family vehicle. Be very careful if you are contemplating using this service.

This is the second time we have used Melbourne Cheap Removals. The two young men who came to our house to help us move were both so clever. I deeply appreciate their help and care. Watching them move the fridge and washing machine was a highlight, they were legends. I felt really happy to have such nice team assist me on such an important day of my life.

Seriously great Melbourne Based company that is excellent from start to finish. Quick responses to enquires, detailed quotes and professional service. I have used Melbourne Cheap Removals for local furniture collections and for a big relocation. Every time they have been outstanding. Their crew for my move from the city to the sea were amazing: friendly, careful, professional, fun. Lovely guys, super service. Cannot recommend highly enough.
