NO BOND BACK GUARANTEE! ZERO STARS!!! This company is rude, uncooperative and most certainly does not offer a bond back guarantee. We were greeted at our property by three men who showed up 45 minutes late and then threatened to walk off the job if we didn't pay them more money up front. They charged us for 8 hours and completed 6.5 hours of cleaning. The job was poor with multiple areas needing to be redone. When I contacted the company to express my concerns they were very hostile. When our real estate agent came back to us with concerns Melbourne Bond Cleaning refused to rectify the problem even though their guarantee says that any issues and they will return to fix them. BE VERY WARY IF BOOKING THIS COMPANY TO CLEAN YOUR HOUSE. I have filed a formal complaint with consumer affairs in regards to this company.
STAY AWAY! Cleaners ripped me off and didn't even clean the place! The owner had to go back and get them to actually clean it. They quoted 10 hours to clean a small townhouse, which would've taken me less time by myself. They swept rubbish outside and then demanded more money to clean the outside area!! When I called them they were aggressive and rude and kept demanding even more money. Shocking experience and I didn't even get all my bond back after paying almost $600. A horrible, stressful experience all round. Better off to do it yourself or go elsewhere.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use this cleaning company. Booked them with over a month in advance notice and told they would call 15 minutes before start time. Didn't get a phone call and had to call the office to confirm they were still coming, once they arrived the cleaners refused to start as they said they needed 10 hours to clean a 2 bed 2 bath apartment after being quoted and booked for 6. Called their head office to inform them I would not be paying for 10 hours as I was quoted 6, was told the booking was for 6 hours and it will be done. Half an hour later the cleaner called to inform me they would not start until they were paid cash first. What were they doing for literally 40 minutes? Why did they not mention this when I was there with them, instead of waiting until I had gotten back to work? Called the office again to confirm and inform them I would not be paying the full amount in cash first and would be happy to pay a deposit over the phone and remaining once completed and was responded with "No! We are a CASH ONLY business, we do not accept any other form of payment." I don't think so, immediately cancelled and had the cleaners exit the premises. Called another reputable cleaning company who inspected the apartment that day then quoted 4 hours AND completed it on the same day. FOUR HOURS with another company and the apartment was perfect with full bond returned and these crooks tried to charge me for TEN HOURS? Hopefully you have read the full review and are convinced to NOT use this company.
I would never use these guys again - they are a disgrace. Booked them weeks earlier for 10.00 am on a Monday. I was quoted 4 to 5 hours. I took the day off work so that I could meet them at the apartment at 10 and let them in - then go to my new place to await deliveries. I got a call at 10 minutes to 10 asking could we make it 12 - I said no - I had booked at 10 and I wanted someone there at 10. I was told they were on their way. They turned up at 12. Then, it was double the amount that I had anticipated, because there were two people, like others, I had to pay the full amount up front plus their parking. I turned up back at the apartment on Tuesday with the Property Manager, and the apartment was definitely not "bond clean" - the balcony doors had not been cleaned, the fridge had not been moved and the floor cleaned, the microwave had not been cleaned. I called them back, and they were to come the next day at 1.00pm - so again, I left work went to the apartment to wait - another call - cancelling could we do it at night - I ended up doing some of the cleaning myself. The property manager then told me not to worry she would liaise with them as I no longer had the keys. They did not return her calls - in the end - yes, I had to pay for someone else to finish the cleaning so that I could get my bond back - NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE
The worst service I have ever experienced, you shouldn't even be a business! My partner and I booked a clean last Thursday, as we were moving interstate my partner advised Liz that there would be furniture in the living room and I would be loading it into a trailer, to which we were told that would be fine the cleaner can start in another area. We have email evidence of this exchange. We were told there would be one cleaner there for 5 hours, two "cleaners" turned up and proceeded to wander around our property complaining and coming out with any excuse they could as to why they couldn't clean I could barely understand half of it as they were talking amongst themselves, in another language. In there conclusion they were going to charge me $50 extra for every blind in our house that's $450 which is laughable!! I cleaned the blinds myself in the end, these "cleaners" were more interested in whether we were throwing our washing machine out and that they would take it. After walking around and complaining they decided they would only clean it if it was empty and the clean would only take them 2hours so I wouldn't get the stuff into the trailer in time and they left. My partner phoned and emailed Liz who promised us different cleaners would be there to clean.. they didn't show and my partner was then ignored I then called and spoke to Tim I explained our situation and told him my partner had sent numerous emails, to which he replied "I haven't checked my emails yet" and told me he would sort out the issue and get right back to me.. that was last Thursday I still haven't heard a thing from these cowboy "cleaners" thankfully we got in contact with Jim's cleaning services they sent a lovely lady over who did a same day clean and an excellent job. DO NOT USE MELBOURNE BOND CLEANING.
When given quote it was $180 which I was really happy with. They arrived more than one hour late, meantime Im wasting time waiting in an empty house. I was told upon arrival its an extra $20 for the balcony and an extra $30 for the walls to be cleaned. Being named "bond back cleaners" you would presume everything that entails getting ones bond back would be taken care of. Think again. 3 hours later I come home to see the bathroom looks like only the mirrors were cleaned, I had to clean the whole bathroom at midnight, a job I paid someone else to do. Secondly the 'marks' were removed from the walls but the walls and skirting boards themselves were untouched. Again being bond back cleaners you should know wiping down the entire walls is very important. The balcony also was untouched, I found broken glass there. So basically I paid $230 for my kitchen to be cleaned and I ended up doing the rest. When I contacted them I was told " hopefully it won't be an issue'. IT IS AN ISSUE. Finally I needed a receipt of cleaning to send my agency, I have requested this more than 3 times now and have been ignored. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
If I could, I would give this company zero stars. They are completely unorganised and unapologetic about it. My partner recently engaged this company for an end of lease clean. The cleaners were scheduled to arrive at 8am on a Thursday. They turned up almost 3 HOURS LATER! It took 3 phone calls to their office to get a cleaner there. Their excuse was "we didn't get a text message requesting this service". The cleaner even tried to reschedule the clean for the next day which is totally unacceptable and it blows my mind that a company can deliver such poor service and still operate. Once we arrived to inspect the clean, we were not impressed. The house APPEARED clean but it absolutely stunk of the cleaners body odour and the mop was disgustingly filthy, it should have been replaced MONTHS ago. The carpets were not clean properly either and they also smelt terrible. The cleaning products they used were also decantered into unmarked bottles which is illegal so I have no idea what products were used. They DEMAND payment upfront even after arriving 3 hours late and completely throwing our schedule out for the rest of the day. I will never recommend their services to anyone, they are more trouble than they are worth. 0/5 stars.
Booked in for a Bond Clean for end of lease. Was overcharged, the cleaner was rude/abusive as were the office staff. The carpet 'clean' was atrocious and the cleaner needed to go back and clean them twice. Still not clean. Cleaner said he would go back again today and now just not answering the Estate Agents calls. A decent clean would have had these carpets spotless in 1 go. Oven also damaged while being cleaned. This company refuse to take any feedback or responsibility. An absolute joke. Also the guarantee of the bond clean is only valid for 1 week however Agents have 10 working days in which to conduct their final inspection. Be careful not to get caught out there. Now left to cover the cost of further carpet clean and oven repairs and in the meantime my bond is held up. Through no fault of my own. Would have been far less stressful to clean myself.
