Comparing past B & Bs that we have known with our recent stay in the beautiful Blue Mountains, Melba House was outstanding. It was not merely the charm of the over 100 year old house and the beautiful and gracious appointments of its three guest rooms. Nor was it the tea bags and fresh cake made by Sue our hostess and the port and chocolates awaiting us in our suite. Nor was it the generous breakfast served daily in our rooms. But it was the person who brought it Sue - our hostess. Her smile, cheerful efficiency, humour and friendliness made us wish we could have stayed longer. She was the reason why Melba House is at the top of our list. Val and Ken Fitch June 2016
