Mehfil Indian Restaurant
"WE ARE CLOSED THE LAST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH.You won’t find bland Indian entrees that are over salted to make up for their lack of taste at our restaurant. Using the finest spices and seasonings, our food excites the senses with bright flavors and the perfect balance. If you want to taste real Indian food, you’ve found the right place! We felt the Silverdale and Bremerton area needed a dash of new flavor. We believed the Indian restaurants in the area did not represent the best of Indian cuisine. We knew if we offered real, quality Indian food the public would respond. So we created an original menu with with a splash of new entrees the public has never seen or tried. So when you come to Mehfil, you’ll get something new and different."

This Indian restaurant is on point! The menu is extensive and caters to the non-meat eaters. Portions are very generous. Service is excellent. I ordered the Lamb curry and was surprised at the tastiness. There is no strong "gamey" taste to the lamb. The curry was nice and slightly thick to my liking.
This is a great place for Indian Cuisine. They have it all and even offer goat and lamb options. Our food came out quickly from the kitchen and was hot and fresh. My wife said hers was spicier than the 1 star she asked for but still enjoyed it.Food: 5/5
Mehfils Indian Cuisine & Bar is a place I have driven by for years, and we've threatened to dine there for the last few years; and we finally took the initiative and ate there a couple of nights ago. Entering the restaurant, well, I would have never thought such a lovely restaurant would be in this location. I'm not saying their place is in an atrocious or run-down area. Still, I feel this charming restaurant should be a stand-alone restaurant with aesthetically pleasing outside decor, not in front of a bowling alley or neighboring a Safelite Autoglass repair, let alone next to a Money tree. Still, it's not, so I'll move on. Our server Tasi was lovely, soft-spoken, engaging, and caring. I enjoyed having small conversations with her throughout our dinner; people like her make me still believe there are good people still left in this world. We started with an appetizer, Onion Bhaji, which are onions fritters seasoned with various Indian spices, and were they delicious! We decided to split our entrees, my hubby ordered Butter Chicken, and I ordered Paneer Tikka. We both agreed that it was the best Butter Chicken we have ever had; it was, however, a little saucier than I expected, which isn't a bad or good thing; it's just a thing. My Paneer Tikka happens to be a vegetarian dish consisting of large chunks of onion, bell pepper, and tomato with enormous tofu pieces. That dish was tasty as well, and the tofu stood on its own very well, BUT I couldn't help but add a little bit of my butter chicken sauce to that tofu, which worked as a little sponge and soaked up all these beautiful Indian Spices from the butter chicken, either way, it was delicious! And last but not least was our rice, I believe it to be basmati rice, the wonderful soft flavor, not too moist nor too dry and it complemented our butter chicken sauce! The only thing we regret is not telling them a three on the spiciness. Five being the hottest and one most mild, two is what we chose, and it will be three next time! I Can't forget the Masala Chai; I opted out of sugar but drinking it reminded me how much I love Chai tea, and I decided to purchase some yesterday! It was a flavorful tea with a rich deep taste of all the wonderful spices that make chai tea warm and unique! The restaurant was clean and organized with warm, rich colors that were soft to the eye and inviting. The decor was simple but told a story. Once again, our server was kind-hearted and personable! Honestly, if you haven't tried Mehfil Indian Cuisine and Bar, you're missing out. We look forward to returning and trying out many of the other dishes, including some more vegetarian ones; there were plenty of vegetarian options to pick from. Each dish sounded more impressive than the next one! You can find Mehfils Indian Cuisine at 10600 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, Washington. The food and service is outstanding. We had the lunch special for $36. The Aloo Matar, Tika Marsala, Naan, and rice was seasoned well. Every thing was delicious. I just wished there was more chicken in the Marsala and more Potatoes in the Matar.
We LOVED our experience here. Appetizer- Onion bhaji was tasty! Entree- Do yourself a favor and try the Tandoori chicken STILL thinking about how amazing it was!! I wish we lived closer or Id be getting this all the time! and the chicken tikka masala also amazing! Garlic Naan was also yummy and perfect for dipping.
I had been eyeballing this Indian Restaurant for a while now. Finally went in and ate there tonight. I was NOT disappointed. The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The restaurant was nice and clean. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
Very tasty. Great food and owner came out and answered menu questions. Go in hungry and walk out full. Very pleasant dining experience.
Delicious, authentic Indian cuisine! The portions are worth the price. Workers were friendly. My boyfriend and I ordered butter chicken, chicken curry, and cheese naan. Both of our foods were served with a side of rice. I'd definitely come back again!
The food was the best Indian food we ever had. There was 6 of us and each individual loved their dish. The decor is very tasteful, cloth napkins which we value very much and outstanding service. We’ll be back very soon.
Very quiet Indian food that has a pretty good selection of curries and other delicacies. By far the best of its kind in the Silverdale area. We don't live nearby, by plan to stop by whenever our travels take us into the area. Highly recommend the Garlic Naan and Tikka Masala. Heat ranking from 1-5. My only complaint would be that my wife always goes for 1, and I usually shoot for 4 or 5, but heat tends to be around a 3 for both. Regardless, great restaurant, decent prices. Worth a go...
