Dr Jay Yazdian has been my GP for 7 years and I can say he is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Great bed side manners, old enough to be knowledgeable but also young enough to continue to be relevant and a good researcher of new methods and treatments in medicine. He treats my whole family and I feel very lucky to have found him in Australia. The clinic staff is polite and courteous and I have also had all my Covid-19 vaccines done with them.
Really disappointed with this practice. My daughter and I have been patients for over 15 years and was told only when rang to make an appointment that they no longer bulk bill adults or children! The fact that we received no letter or any notification to advise us of this is simply just poor from medical one’s behalf! I don’t think this practice has at all considered each patients situation and has only thought about there financial well-being! Absolutely hurt by the lack of support given!
Booked an appointment with Medical One and received a text 24 hours prior confirming the appointment. I attended the centre at the appropriate day and time only to be told my doctor didn't work on that day of the week. When I explained the centre had sent me a reminder the day prior, the reception staff told me to sort it out with the doctor. The booking of appointments is the responsibility of the reception team. After a few phone call to the reception team they admitted they had booked the appointment with the wrong doctor. My tip - don't waste your time dealing with Medical One Moorabbin, they are highly incompetent and impersonal. They deserve zero stars.
Absolutely avoid at all costs. Reception are horrendous and Dr Niv Sharma has no clue. I had to provide her information from the Department of Health as she wasn’t aware of current information. HUGE RED FLAG for a “Doctor”. I suggest she finds a new profession. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would. Then the information I requested and was told I would receive after the consultation has still not been done. Reception then LIED to me and told me it had been done in order to get payment for my appointment. Once I called them a week later to find out what was going on, they then told me to pay for another appointment! LOL I’ve submitted a complaint/claim with the Health Commissioner, to investigate doctor and practise. Apparently I’m not the only one to have complaints about this clinic. I’d be surprised if they’re still in business in a year.
Absolutely avoid at all costs. Sense of care as well as duty of care doesn't exist here. The only doctor's that did there job properly was Dr Stewart and the male doctor with the name starting with a v. The female Dr Master and Sharmn should find a new job. My needs were not meet at all. Reception gave me the wrong information and then charged me wrong. When they called back after when I said it's more than usual at the start, the same receptionist said I should of said I had a hcc. THATS YOUR JOB SWEETHEART. Then the information I requested and was told I would receive after the consultation came the next day. They told another party the wrong information. I rather ask my cat next time.. Plus the price they are charging is extremely overpriced. Across the road, Everwell medical. I can't speak highly enough of the care and reception. Million miles apart. Please avoid here at all costs. I have had quite a few bad experiences with this place.
I've been a patient for 20 years. Dr Maclean is our doctor and is spot on with his consults. Fantastic GP. When in today for an injection, I was disappointed by the amount of ppl wandering in/out and around either Not wearing masks or with them under chins or under their nose - staff included! Yes some ppl can't wear them for medical reasons but when ppl walk in with them in their hands and then sit without putting them on, well that's not acceptable. Notices are clearly displayed everywhere for a reason. Not a good look Medical One.
Awful. Rude receptionist and a Dr who just wanted me gone despite leaving me waiting for 45 mins with an empty waiting room. 3 minute consult to be told to keep taking Panadol, $103.
The new Practice Mgr 'Simone" is uptight and has no interpersonal skills. Should be in the back office doing admin duties. Probably the 1st initial point of contact that all the other 'mutiple' negative reviews came accross.
Dr Maclean is a fabulous Doctor..knows his stuff and is very well regarded professionally. He's always booked out, he's that good and popular. He's always looked after my self very very well. Couldn't ask for a better Doctor and practice!
They use to be amazing, great doctors still a few great doctors, now the clinic has become money hungry no concession bulk billing, so single mums/dads pensioners are all stuffed if we're sick and no money. Thanks medi one you've made life difficult for a lot of people struggling. Disappointing that money comes before health. Tried to make an appointment with the Dr for my son who's one, but new reception staff wouldn't help out . The reception staff keep changing, and can be quite rude.
