Great customer service! I went in last September end to buy me a foundation after being ignored by the sephora staff. The staff at mecca was very nice. I had no experience in makeup and didn’t know what to do. But they helped me pick a correct foundation shade and other makeup products as well that I required assistance. They were kind to me during the entire process and helped me get what I want. Sadly, I don’t know the names of staff who helped me. But good job! All products greatly match my skin tone and I love it!! Keep up the great customer service
As someone who doesn't know a lot about makeup, it was very daunting entering the store but a really nice staff member approached me and helped me out and she was phenomenal! She ensured that I got everything that I wanted, swatching me and patiently gave me recommendations, explaining the different types of looks and assisted me the entire time, while also making casual conversation and making sure I maintained comfort. For someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, it might have been an expensive trip, but because of her, I think very positively of my experience and I am inclined to come back to Mecca over any other makeup store. :
Staff are very knowledgeable across brands. A friend and I were looking for eyeshadows or a palette that had particular colors, and the assistant who approached us was able to find us several. Staff always catch your eye and smile when you enter and approach very happily or are happy to let you browse. The store is very clean and has ample supply of cleansers and tissues etc to wipe testers off your hands.
My friend and I had a wonderful experience shopping at Mecca today with Nadine's not sure if I spelt her name right help! We don't have much makeup knowledge at all but Nadine went out of her way to recommend many products that were within our range and style for a gift. We were so overwhelmed with the amount of products in the store but she helped us navigate around easily to get the best finds!
Love, love, love my new perfumes and I especially love the staff member who helped me I’m so sorry, I can’t remember the name but she had a blonde ponytail and was at the front of the entrance. The thing is, I would have totally been okay with being ignored because there were so many people shopping like me at the same time and it was Thursday on a peak hour. I was frantically rushing around for particular gifts and was a mess but this staff member was so nice that she personally looked for everything and also was very attentive. That’ s hard to see some days.. If I come back to Melbourne, I’m for sure coming back here to shop.
Had a beautiful experience in store with the team answering all of my questions/offering alternatives to the product I wanted that was out of stock - big shout out to Angie and Jessie for their help. AND to top it all off, one of the managers Tehana even walked me to the door while we chatted. Couldn’t have asked for better service, it was just magic!
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable with their products, especially Petra. She had taken her time, helping me and my daughter’s choose the right foundation for our skin tone. Thank you so much Petra.
Yesterday I was looking for Nars foundation with my friend at Mecca Maxima Melbourne Central but we were not so sure about the colour so I asked the lady in the front entrance if anyone could help us. I’m so glad that we were served by Ellie. She took time and effort to get the right shade. She’s super friendly, patient and the most important is I feel that she is “Care”. I will go back and buy Nars foundation because of Ellie’s service 100%. I really want to say thank you to Ellie from the bottom of my heart. I went in to mecca to get a sample of foundation i was wanting to try the girl that helped me with my match was so lovely i didn’t get her name but she had a red butterfly tattoo behind her ear. she matched my shade perfectly and i’ll definitely be back to buy the full size. amazing store and some of the most friendly staff it was a great experience
I went there on a Wednesday morning and a young lady called Jenna helped me with eye make up. She was very friendly and informative. She was one of the best costumer service representatives I’ve seen in Mecca.
