I am a complete beginner at make up, so I took a make up lesson here with a friendly girl called Alex. I really appreciate that she was patient and didn't make me feel silly for not knowing much about make up, and felt like she recommended me really good products too. Make up lessons are $150 and you can also use that $150 to spend on Mecca products after, so it's basically like getting a 1hr free make up lesson with store credit, which was perfect for me who needed everything to start with. The staff at Mecca are generally helpful whenever I visit with questions or asking for recommendations : The only reason I will give 4 stars is because of one visit I had which made me feel rushed, I was recommended a foundation that I didn't like and I felt like the girl didn't take her time to choose one for me properly, Carousel Mecca staff took far more time to match me properly choosing different products and asking me more questions, and I found the perfect match thanks to them :
Alex did my makeup yesterday for a family photo shoot and she was absolutely brilliant!! She knew exactly what colours to use and what would look good on tan skin. I have never looked and felt so beautiful before! Thank you Alex! Mecca in garden city definitely has one of the best and most skilled makeup artist, so anyone looking to get their makeup done, I would highly recommend this store :
When I attended Mecca Booragoon I was a little lost in all the products and about to just buy something on a whim... your staff member Ashley-Nicole approached me and saved me from potentially buying something I wouldn't like. Ashley-Nicole shared their product knowledge and provided me with a range of testers to help me find a moisturiser I'd actually like & use. Ashley explained how to best make use of the testers and also highlighted the recycling initiative at your store for the tester jars. I now have a face moisturiser that works for me!
Absolutely love this store! A majority of the makeup is beautiful quality and staff here are always so lovely and helpful and always assist me in finding what I am looking for! The interior is well set out so products can be easily found and it’s very vibrant. Only downside is the prices of a majority of the makeup products, which can be pretty expensive, and some of the staff seem like they try to upswell everything, saying “they’ve tried all the products” and telling you that some products are actually good quality when in reality aren’t the best.
Had an awful day at work today and went into mecca to get a tester, and dropped a whole bottle of foundation on the floor which smashed and went absolutely everywhere I felt absolutely awful and wanted to cry but every single staff was so lovely and continued to go out of their way to help me - just wanted to say thank you to everyone who went out of their way to clear up the mess I made and made me feel comfortable
I had the store manager Georgie help me last week and she was incredible! I’m always hesitant with new makeup but she made the whole process so much smoother and was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and what would work for me and my skin type. Thank you so much!
Went there tonight with my daughter and little granddaughter as I decided I would get some decent make up for a change. My daughter gets Mecca all the time too so I thought I'd try it. Was served by 2 separate girls as one was finishing her shift so she got someone else to serve us. Beautiful shop but we felt like they were in a rush to serve us and get us out of there ! Not impressed by standard of knowledge at all . And spent close to $400 there too which is not an issue but felt like cattle. Live South but next time will make more of an effort to go to Karrinyup and get served by a girl who actually takes her time to make you feel special and totally interested to make you look your best.

Went in to get some new skin care products and was looking for samples as I have really sensitive skin. I was helped by Abby sorry if I spelt your name wrong x and she was super super kind and helpful really helped me with not only skin care but matching a foundation shade to me. One of the products I wanted wasn’t in stock but she checked when it should be coming in.
Had a wonderful experience with Naiobi hope I spelt that right x who really went over and beyond with her wonderful customer service. Helped Mom and I find exactly what we were looking for and had a lovely chat with us too : super positive energy to have around!
