Plenty of unlimited parking, the train station is also a short walk away. They have busses that come regularly as well. It is wheelchair friendly.
Meadowbank is a beautiful Wharf with great accessibility and tons of ferries. Beautiful spot to take photos and more too!
The wharf has a seating area which is barely sufficient for the crowd waiting to board a cruise. Nearest washroom is 15 minits walk from the jetty. A reasonably clean place to wait. It's very difficult to find a parking spot near the wharf though.
It's a nice serene park where you can spend a quiet afternoon or morning stroll, jog or walk your dog. It's just right beside the Meadowbank train station and you can walk at 5mins. The view over the water is calming esp. during sunset. There are a few benches that you can sit to rest and grab a bite.
Some good new ferries with clear signboard telling you which stop is next and how long; new chairs and better accessibility provisions
Nice relaxing and comfy place to wait for the ferry, great bridge and apartment nearby.
Cool ferry wharf with busses and next to the riverside bike and walking tracks. Theres also a small beach nearby which has good skipping stones too
Ferries from this spot travel to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. And they also travel west along Parramatta River to Sydney Olympic Park and Parramatta. The Meadowbank train station is about 600 metres north of this ferry stop. There's shelter at this ferry stop. You'll find an automated Opal card ticketing machine here. The trip along the Parramatta River offers some stunning views. The trip by ferry to the city is more expensive than the train trip, but it's more relaxing.
Beautiful but the river is not the ocean nor the harbour. It’s like the industrial era
