The place has potential, but everything was submerged in water when we visited, so we couldn’t do much.
Love this place. Great for dog walking but a little bit icy at the moment.
Lovely hidden gem in Shinfield. Easy parking, nice benches, well taken care of paths and some gorgeous wild meadow nature. Potential to see some lovely birds. Not for the hayfeverish without adequate medication
Great visit. Far too short. But we'll be back many more times. And we have - May 2020 Dog-friendliness: Totally dog friendly - sometimes have to be careful for livestock. Could picnic - there are benches. Just a beautiful walk today with all the buttercups.
Really nice little trail for walking around. It's not anything out the ordinary bit is not particularly well known so is nice and quiet. You can park there and then have a mooch about to see if you see any wildlife. Well marked out paths so you can walk an shorter or longer loops. A good place for dog walkers as will often see dogs enjoying themselves round here too.
It’s a great place to experience nature . I absolutely love the open meadows - and walking trails .
Great trails to walk & child friendly. Well maintained and peaceful. Has benches to sit and also bins to throw your waste.You even get a view of the cows grazing. Great place to visit.
Lovely place to walk, lots of different options and can make circular walks easily. Most areas are wide and open, so easy to move out of the way of others. Car park is small so I imagine this gets full at peak times. Few dog poo bins but there is one by the carpark. Lots of routes so you can choose part way round whether to keep going or take a shorter path. Beware, there may be animals in fields but when we were there they were in a separate area.
Small car park. Nice, gentle, ready access walks around this area. Take your wellies if it's been raining recently, lots of the paths flood!
My Labrador-Retriever absolutely loves the walk around here, there are many different paths you can take, making it either longer or shorter and more interesting for the dog. Everyone we bump into is also really nice and understanding of him if he jumps up as he's still a puppy Only downside is that it can get a little flooded in places so make sure you bring good shoes!
