Be careful when asking these lawyers for a quote or estimate of their services!! I was in the middle of building a minor dwelling and called around different lawyers for an estimate of how much it will cost for a lawyer to represent our behalf- Mcveagh fleming took my details such as my home address, I thought it's to give me an exact estimate- another lawyer then sent me an email listing out advice I've never asked for, and then they charged me almost $500 for this!! For a 10 minute chat over the phone and an email listing out information I already knew!! Outrageous how they can do this without me ever asking for their advice!! Tried to contact the lawyer several times to dispute this but he did not pick up the phone even though the receptionist was sure he was free and in his office!! Unbelievable!!

My partner and I have worked with McVeagh Fleming for a number of different legal issues and each time their staff were friendly, open, and explained what needed to be done. That is in stark contrast to many lawyers who keep things confused and secret. I definitely recommend McVeagh Fleming to anyone needing legal work.
