"We weave fabric using NZ wool on our c1900 semi-automated pedaled Hattersley Domestic Weaving System. We make our fabrics into fashion and home wares which are sold online, at Crafted Artisan Gallery in Oamaru and selected outlets in NZ. We also weave on commission for interior and fashion designers, wool growers and people who want something special woven for them. We are proud of the quality of yarn we use, and the fabrics and products we create. Contact us for more information regarding our looms and weaving services. Our weaving shed is open by appointment."

Sue and Rod make the most incredible, luxury hand-woven items! I love that everything they make is by hand - from the foot powered loom, to hand-sewing the finished products. It is even more impressive how passionate they are about NZ wool and supporting local suppliers and industry. Definitely recommend for any custom pieces you want, or any beautiful gifts, or timeless, quality pieces to add to your wardrobe or home!

I recently purchased a beautiful baby blanket as a gift, after receiving one for my own baby 7 years ago. My blanket has been constantly in use for all that time as a blanket in bassinet, cot, car, on the ground, now as a couch blanket and still looks brand new, even with all that we have thrown at it. Both blankets are of exceptional quality, soft with beautiful hand crocheted edges,  incredibly warm, and the fact they are locally produced in Oamaru makes them all the more special. Highly recommend.
