I recently made a vague and unusual request to set a high value stone in a pendant that I had no inspiration for. Craig helped me find the vocabulary to describe what I like and came up with an absolutely beautiful, unique, modern design and created it exactly as discussed.  I am getting all of the compliments on it and never hesitate to refer people to him. 110% satisfied.

After being referred by family, we have now had three rings designed and crafted by the McKim team for my wife and daughter over the last couple of years, and they frequently remind me how happy they are with all three!  The last involved a stone my wife was particularly keen on and which Craig generously kept aside for her while we decided what to do with it.  Not only is the resultant jewellery beautiful, Craig's process of developing each piece is very professional.  He took the time to find out what aspects were important to us personally, offering good practical advice and handy tips, drew up conceptual plans around these ideas, and then delivered an accurate representation.  This process has enabled us as customers to feel very comfortable with our investments through every stage of development.  Thank you Craig and your team, we're delighted with the results.

Having recently become engaged - with a stone rather than a ring - we found ourselves in the market for a good jeweller, with no idea who to work with. I knew it needed to be someone with really good workmanship as I wanted a very simple, elegant design... and there's nowhere to hide when you go simple!  Having researched what felt like every jeweller in Brisbane, the one that I kept going back to was McKims because everything I saw looked and sounded precise, professional AND friendly... and that's exactly what we experienced, too. Craig took the time to really listen, he showed us examples to help us to clarify what we wanted and then drew up a plan and quote. Whilst we'd originally planned to talk to another couple of people, just to be sure, in the end we both felt so comfortable on the day that we went straight ahead.  We picked up the ring last weekend, both feeling quite anxious - it's a big leap of faith, after all - but I could not be more thrilled with the result. The setting is absolutely beautiful - clean, precise and flawlessly executed - and it's even better than I'd hoped for. We'll absolutely be coming back for our wedding bands and I'd recommend them to anyone. Beautiful work - thank you so much!

Went to get my engagement ring from overseas re-sized and re-shaped.  Craig was fantastic. As my ring was new and the most expensive thing I own I was anxious about its re-size and shape. However, Craig was very patient with me, took time for me to decide on what I wanted and explained everything in detail.  I must also say, that although my ring was bought elsewhere and wasn’t as ‘top of the range’ as some of the Jewellery that McKims make and sell themselves – there was no snobbery, they were warm, helpful and friendly and understood how much my piece of jewellery meant to me.  Super place, I’d definitely recommend!

Craig has redesigned some preloved jewellery as well as creating new pieces for my family and we have loved every one of them.  A true personal experience and I will keep coming back.

I had spoken to a couple of different designers when the time came to start planning the ring to propose with, but Craig really stood out from the rest. Other designers seemed to make the process feel superficial. Pick your diamond, pick your set, pay your money; done. I guess this is the trap of repetition for them.  Craig was vastly different. He engaged the creative discussion over a few sessions, he took the time to get to know the history of the relationship and through those discussions together were able to craft a design which was personal and had a story behind it. Further to this, he then had the skills to bring the design to life and convey the sentiments.  I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed the process. It was significant and certainly added depth and character not just to the ring itself, but also to the story I can tell about the lead up to getting engaged.  Thank you!

I honestly can't thank McKims enough. I had a VERY sentimental ring gifted to me from my partner for my 21st few years ago, it had then fallen out of my bag on the road and was run over... several times. I asked Michael to save me and he really took into account how special this ring is to me and saved it completely!!! It went from an unrecognizable bit of silver with some destroyed leaves delicate leaves, and they made it look brand new again. And I mean brand new!!!! I'm so overwhelmed and couldn't be happier. Thank you so so much!
