Absolutely love this place, I’ve been here many times before and recently changed owners and the place looks a lot better. I had mistakenly brought outside food into the building and was kindly reminded of their strict policy of “no outside food” the owner was very thoughtful and offered food from kitchen to compensate. He didn’t have to do this but he did, such a great owner. Great place to bring the kids it’s not so big so you’re able to see where your child is which is great. Sometimes big play centres feel like a maze. Look forward to see what’s install for this play centre as we are locals to the area.

Went as a Small Ideas member, and the discount was refused at entry, which was frustrating. The playcentre looks clean enough, but could do with an update. The dolls are bit creepy! It's a shame own food is not allowed for kids, especially when they have intolerances or fussiness. There needs to be a gate to the 4+ area! My 2yr old kept on climbing on with no way to stop him, and apparently parents are not allowed on equipment, which is no ideal if a child needs help etc

Had our daughters 5th Birthday at the Play Cafe and it was absolutely amazing. Super helpful and friendly staff. Food was amazing and my little one had the most amazing birthday party. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a party venue or a fun place for the kiddos to play.

Excellent place for the kids and Adults. Had my granddaughters birthday party today. Brilliant staff. Staff friendly. Very clean and plenty of room. Had a brilliant hot chocolate and the coffees were of a high standard.

Terrific play centre with great facilities. We used the venue to celebrate a birthday this weekend and I have to say, 10/10. The staff were very helpfully, on time and took all the hard work out of a birthday party. Well done. We look forward to coming back.

This place is fantastic for all agers! The ride on horses are my daughters favourite and the gravy on your chips is Mummy’s favourite do yourself a favour and come to McDougalls and get the gravy! This place won’t disappoint

What an amazing experience we had. We have two special needs children who were very much looked after. The new owners are absolutely lovely. Will be back and keeping it local.

Visited today and the new owners took their time to introduce themselves. Very lovely people. Sounds like they have big plans for the centre and will be great to see the changes.

Nice small play centre, very clean which is good. Although coffee has really gone down hill since the change of ownership as well as the service.
