Very bad service. I went into the walk-in area at the front entrance around about 12.30am wanting to make an order. I was ignored by several staff members who weren’t even busy and were playing on their phones. They definitely knew I was there waiting but continued to ignore me. After 15 mins of waiting I was eventually shouted at by a very rude and patronising young woman that they were only accepting orders from the drive-through. During the prior 15 mins of waiting I also witnessed the same woman verbally abuse someone through the drive-through window and laugh at them with her co-worker. After she told me drive-through only, a man came and quite rudely slammed the door shut on me as I was leaving. I don’t understand the point of keeping the walk-in area open if they aren’t going to be accepting walk-in orders. They have the staff to serve customers and make the business money, but appear too lazy to do so. Management needs to be aware of this. This is not the first time this has happened, but it will definitely be the last time as I will not be coming back.

Not really a fan of Macca's but my moko is. Impressed by how clean it is. Some attention to detail clear perspex on playground walls but exterior windows clean, no dirty tables left for long, chairs are good and spill free. Staff were polite, presentable. Food service was quick and moko enjoyed kai. My Cappuccino was great as well so bonus. Well done guys. Keep up the good work
It was busy, but we got our order via table delivery pretty quickly. The playground area is so cool, too. It's definitely perfect for the whole family.Food: 5/5
Attention Needed for Better Customer Experience Rating: I recently visited the McDonald's location in New Plymouth and I must say my experience was less than ideal. It seemed to be staffed primarily by what appeared to be disgruntled teenagers. This led to an atmosphere that lacked the typical warm, welcoming vibe you'd expect from such a well-known establishment. Despite understanding the challenges of managing a young workforce, I feel that this falls into the realm of a management issue. There seems to be a need for improved training and guidance to ensure employees understand the importance of maintaining a positive, customer-oriented attitude. While the food was standard McDonald's fare, the overall experience was marred by the lackluster customer service. I do hope management takes note and implements necessary measures to improve the situation.
Luke warm chips and wraps that are not prepared properly and taste stale. They have also me served strawberry thick shake without any strawberry on more than one occasion. The worst mcdonalds I have gone to. Avoid.Food: 1/5
What the flip Mc Donald’s. Ordered two times Mc Flurries on a Friday evening through delivereasy for my partner and I. Apon receiving these we noticed they were all melted and split , and split all through the bag. I called the store direct and they mucked me around saying they will remake it. After 45 minutes I called back only to be told it was Delivereasy problem and not theirs, when they are the ones that made the product. Maybe train your staff better on quality of work , customer service and general sympathy. Will not be returning !!
Some self-service kiosks are not working, so when you go through to the end of your order, after making changes, then you are ready to pay. The button doesn't work, so you have to start again, you can't use the same choices, remember the same changes and you don't get what you want. May as well go somewhere else.Food: 2/5
Ok, my first McDonald's experience in 4 years and I see why it'll be another 4 years before I try again. Cheeseburger had minimal sauce, asked for no pickles and got ruddy pickles, drink was flat, chips has more salt than the salt flats!. Rude and racist staff. Multiple experience in shope and delivery. In store: served with a dry pattie, when asked changed with another one with cold bun. Awesome service, when asked its the best they can do.. Lol Delivery: had ordered multiple, sent both times with cold and hot food together, when asked delivery driver he said they cant do anything because with out hot bags they cant get bag and store never listens to the delivery guys to pack cold and hot separate. When ordered second time i send a clear message which the delivery guy had shown in shope to pack separately, again shope ignored it, when i called shope they said you can do redelivery. Unfortunately who ever on phone doesn't knows after 10pm their is no deliveries. Any how, whos the brain behind please learn about food preventions, its not at all good to have a hot coke, mcflurry NEVER TO GO BACK OR ORDER DELIVERY
