What a wonderful experience. Me and my dear friend came to refresh ourselves after a crippling 5km run nearby. Fast service and a spacious, clean restaurant. Food was highly acceptable, very cool and very much appreciated. Only slight critique being the eyeplay machines not being above every table, but we all have our flaws. Will be back!
I rode my Honda jazz all the way to this location from way up north in search of a fine meal. I was famished, and I knew that if I didn't eat something soon, I'd be forced to eat one of those disgusting things they call "snacks." My stomach grumbled as I pulled into the parking lot of a restaurant called McDonald's. It looked like it had been around for ages—it certainly hadn't changed since I last visited here. The place was packed with people, but there were still plenty of empty tables available. As I walked inside, I noticed how clean everything seemed. This wasn't surprising, given the fact that the whole place smelled like disinfectant. "Welcome! How can we help you today?" asked an employee who greeted me at the counter. "I want a Big Mac Meal," I said. The employee nodded and handed over a menu card. "Would you like fries with that?" he asked. "No thanks," I replied. He gave me a funny look before handing me my order. He then pointed out the nearest table where I could sit down and wait for my food to arrive. After paying him, I sat myself down on one of the chairs. The place was really busy, so I figured I should have my meal as quickly as possible. A few minutes later, the employee brought my order to me. I took the tray from his hands and carried it over to my table. When I placed it down, I saw that it was quite heavy. But I couldn't complain too much because I got two Big Mac meals instead of just one. That meant double the meat patties and double the cheese. As I began eating, I realized that I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. I felt full and satisfied after finishing off half of each burger. I left the rest of my food uneaten so that I wouldn't feel guilty about wasting food. And while I waited for my car to cool down, I decided to take a quick nap. I fell asleep almost immediately.
Ordered 3 meals on the app - got to the drive through and my correct order wasn't coming up. Checked my bank account and funds hadn't come out yet so ordered again in person at the window - I only tapped my bank card once however my card was somehow charged twice for 1 out of the 3 meals - then wrong drinks received! Won't be back here in a hurry.
Manager? with hamburger U shirt told me I had to just have melted frozen drink as that's how it was coming out! Took my receipt and threw it away! I can't believe how bad all the reviews are, never seen anything like it. Last fortnight the manager was apparently in a yelling argument with a staff member. Wait til MacDonald's hears about this, they have franchise standards!
Craig, was rude when the frozen coke machine said $1 and I was charged $2. Manager Craig said what am I expected to do with a 20 year old machine? So the machine is really old too! Yuk.
Wasn't asclean as it could have been, obviously short staffed. But that is nothing compared to the utter disappointment of the McCafe drinks I ordered. Photo shows whipped cream etc...but no a shot of sweet stuff that didn't taste like chocolate in milk with some ice . I double checked the photo when I go home just in case I saw it incorrectly but I didn't, it should have had whipped cream. NOT HAPPY
Girl at the window was so rude. We told her this isn't what we ordered she got mad and said to bad did u not look at the screen and confirm your order. I advised her Yes But this is not it she didn't seem to understand she was handing us the wrong food. She said if u dont like drive back around there was about 11 cars piled in behind us. Before I could speak she slammmed the window shut. She was nasty.
Waited in the drive through 15 mins, which is understandable as things can get busy. After a long wait, our burgers came out raw through the middle and chips were stale.
Mcdonald’s Rockingham’s service was quite speedy but the food was average. A worker with the name badge that read “Nicole” served me, and I just thought I would right this comment to give that lady a little praise. What a worker! She served me with respect, kindness, and intelligence; all with a big smile on her face. Let’s just say i’ve had a few circumstances where i’ve needed a cheeky cheeseburger when i’ve had a few too many and the workers have been blunt and rude. Nicole was exactly the opposite and I think her fellow co workers could learn a few things from her
Fantastic fresh burgers & hot fries!! Sadly drinks arrived later. Very clean, quiet restaurantFood: 5/5
